    Masa dumplings sound delicious, and I will probably try that next time I make chicken and dumplings. I've never had a mole blanco before, so I will definitely be trying this recipe!

      They are actually a thing. Called chochoyotes. If they’re not in rick’s book, I know for a fact they are in at least one of Pati Jinich’s, and they’re lovely!

    Thank you for explaining the concept of 'mole blanco'. Left to my own devices, I'm SURE we would not have ended up with even CLOSE to the same thing! 😅😅😅. It looks delicious!

    Watching you cook and listening to your perfect Texican voice lifts me. I love to watch you fall in love with Mexico and her bounty. You have always been incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but to watch you create from this new love is incredibly inspiring and encouraging t me.     My brother and his partner have a room lined with bookcases that are half full of cookbooks. For years I have been giving them anything but cookbooks as gifts. But I've made an exception for _Mi Cocina_. Fabulous!

    Wonderful! I need to tell you that the thanksgiving episode BA, when your dad came and made the dressing was one of my favorites! You together with your dad was heartwarming. I wish I had taken the time to write his recipe. Is it somewhere?
    I was also disappointed at his treatment, it seemed he was kinda dismissed and I had NO idea at the time what was going on. I’ve wanted to tell you that for a long time. ❤️

    Could I possibly use some fine white corn flour for the mole? I don't have access to fresh corn masa where I live and would love to give this recipe a try

      Yes, regularly, 1 cup water 1 cup masa harina.
