Ok he is 10 years old, and he delivered a finale's show in an audition show. The story telling,the deliverence and the execution show how professional this kid is. He really sat a high standards for magic

simplest magic trick I've seen in AGT. But the execution is 10/10.
Yea, the gag is pretty basic on this one. And, only a single gag that he parlayed into three different reveals. But, I agree, his presentation skills were top-notch and I think he could make a career out of this easily if he chooses to.

Well done simple trick. The letters were already on the stand, facing away from the audience. The random number cards were placed in front of them, and then he picked up both cards together and flipped them to show the pre-loaded letters that matched what he had given the judges.

In an interview, it was revealed that Ryland started doing magic at age two by playing peek-a-boo, and the rest is history! He has come a long way from peek-a-boo, and I look forward to seeing how his act progresses as the years continue to go by!
At 2:40 you can see that 10 is not a lime. It was a filming error, probably. He had two cards together when he flipped them. And the shirts and writing was already planned because he knew it had to spell “scam” based on the envelopes handed out

this is the first magic trick that I know how to do right after I watched that the first time :D
Easy trick....The picture card holders had hidden picture cards facing backwards that spelled scam. When he turned the cards over, he grabbed the hidden cards together with the other cards and simply turned them around spelling "scam". That is why the border of the picture cards all had a black border to hide any uneven edges. Thus, no matter what card was placed in the holder, they would all spell "scam" when turned. BUT for a 10 year old, bravo on his delivery.

I'm not 100% sure I have it, but the fact that he didn't reveal if each number actually has the picture behind it means he did a sleight of hand when flipping them over. The numbers meant nothing.

think the backs were all unique, the 10 that sophia picked from skylar was red. and most def not a lime that he revealed. notice the cards the kids are holding are super thin too. the ones he picked up from the middle were thicker. hes actually picking on 2 things when he flips them over. the confidence and story telling helped a lot.

The black word slot is already a magnet with the word scam already on it. When he pulls it out of the box, it also sticks out the scam letters and that's it.
Ugh PLEASE. So obvious. Whatever cards he slides into the holder, the "predicted" drawings which are in the holder connect to the back of the cards either magnetically or snap on. This effect was so obvious I shook my head.

well the black box is what gave it away.its like there is a magnetic doubled sided something..that no matter what you chose..its the same picture..

The order of the last 1 was swapped to a different position. So slight of hand was not done. SCAM letters are already there in the black slots facing away. He slides it onto back when lifting and it is magnetic to hold easy.

The prop is rigged. no matter what # you put there. the card with drawing and word is already there. when he flips the # he is holding behind it with the predetermined drawing/number. it's obvious if you think about it. but the delivery is GOOD very good

lol basic trick. The support where the numbers go, has black squares where the numbers fit in, so the numbers did not matter, because they sit on the front of those black square. The drawings (on the back of the squares) will be always the same.

I think the trick is pretty easy. Even someone like me who never did magic can figure it out. All he had to do was to put the paper with the pictures of ’’scam’’ in the boxes and paint their backs in black and put some glue on them or use magnets or electromagnets he can activate and deactivate or whatever magic trick tool they buy for this kind of trick.
Yep...hate when I, a non magician, can figure it out...but I guess he's only 10...so there's that
