Selected words from the author:
"After parsing through the user's manual for her Power Suit, Samus discovered that the Chozo have endowed it with the power to interact with the fabric of reality immediately surrounding the planet SR-388 by simply switching between her beam and her missiles. What luck that she should receive an assignment to go to that planet!"
This run extensively glitches the game to the point where Samus moves to rooms that are glitched and/or weren't there before. Viewers are advised that this run may induce feelings of confusion and disorientation.
The last metroid is in character rom
The galaxy is in pieces.
Haha good one
Is it normal to start with the ball of morphing
yes
Gotta watch out for those ABCDRST metroids. Even more dangerous than alphas!
"baby metroid? nah screw it"
This is the TAS-iest TAS I've ever seen, like holy shit what in the hell was going on on SR388 that day lmfao
But....what about THE BABY.
It gets to live in this timeline.
Guess Ridley will take it instead
Everyday, I watch as games I played long ago are dismantled from within by the TAS community, and I feel amazed that these things can happen, but also concerned now that shooting missiles at the alphabet is a thing now. This is insane!
That's how they get rid of Google in 2315.
Would be amazing to have like the complete map on the side and see how Samus teletransport to different roms by using this glitch
Samus' spaceship dash cam:
*sees Samus leave the spaceship
*20 minutes later Samus spawns from the ground and clips to the ship back again
Metroid 2 fans eating well today!
This looks like a janky nightmare. I’m not sure what’s a glitch and what’s intentional
23:36 rip baby metroid
4:27
a wild font approaches!
Command?
I just noticed the couple frames of garbage after the title screen.
It was an omen.
That's a rather common thing to happen in early games, especially arcade games of the 80s and early 90s
Starts off Metroid, turns in to Word Muncher...
First comment here
Nope
This was a real rollercoaster ride of emotions.
なんか俺の知らないメトロイドが始まった
The one loop of the music is similar to the riff from Innagodadavita by Iron Butterfly....
Cannot unheard it...
Hmm yes just like I remember when I played it
Ok very cool but how the fuck do you traverse all this? Extreme map memorization?
I think it’s a lot of memory watch shenanigans to see what exactly the game has loaded
it’s a TAS
Coolest thing ever
Damn, cool TAS bro
👏 Promo-SM.
