Gail, This was so much fun to watch! I liked that you swatched first! I love your Autumn 🍂 color palette ! I really like that Taccia ink color.. almost like a light pinkish brown 🤩
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed this. You’ve described the Taccia ink perfectly. (I’m really wanting to experiment with this one in some other pens too.)
Thank you! Glad to hear you liked it. I know how it goes! It takes some concentrated effort to NOT match. 😆 Hope you find some good new ink and pen combinations. I’d love to hear what some of your favorite discoveries are.
Hi Gail, Lisa from southeast Kansas here. The Tyrian Purple ink was a very old purple ink made from a certain type of sea snails. I watched two or three videos about it on RUclips. Some people still make the ink from scratch, and it is quite a process. The "tyr" in Tyrian is pronounced like the word "tears" like when we cry. To me, the purple you labeled as the Van Dieman's ink looks more like an authentic Tyrian Purple color to me, which I think is gorgeous! Great video! Lisa
Thank you, Lisa! I really appreciate your sharing this information that you discovered about the Tyrian ink. How interesting! 💜🖋 I think I’ll go find some videos and watch too!
I’m going to take out my Peter Pan green from my Fall line up and put in a deeper green like this Olivine. Very pretty set up. The Edelstein has a def blue IMO. For Fall I like the Monteverdi better.
A great fall assortment of inks !! Especially loving Tex Mex and the Pumpkin Cake which you gave me a sample of last fall . How is the Taccia ink , the color and shading is so pretty but I always have a problem with paler inks as they always seem to be so dry ? also loved the sound of the cap on the Enso !!

I like how you showed these inks/pens. Pretty colors. I want to move away from matching inks and pens more. I do some, but certainly could do more.
Thank you! Glad to hear you liked it.

It depends on the paper. The CAL is good but not great on TRP in the good Inkpressions book… pretty good but a tad dryer on the stalogy.
@@SouthShorePaper Tex Mex is just so reliable… I will definitely replace it when I need to.
