- After being introduced by Bruce Springsteen, Steven Van Zandt delivers his induction speech at the 2018 New Jersey Hall of Fame Celebration.
He was both a star of one of the greatest bands, and one of the greatest TV shows in American history, what a life!!!!!
Even his introductions are a work of art
Little Steven.. The greatest musical influence for passed 45yrs.
As a member pf Spring-Nuts Worldwide (who didn't get in the balcony that night) I happily stood outside that great hall with Police security watching the musically famous and powerful ones coming in, from James Taylor to The Governor: plugged in to the outside wall in my Winnipeg weather wear (surprisingly necessary) taking pictures..Great to hear part of what went on in there: it was a tremendous night to cap the Seaside Serenade off with. Many thanks. Well-deserved tribute!! What's next, Little Stevie? ;) All the best to you & Maureen ♡
A really beautiful speech.
Much congrats to Stevie, & so truly loved these wonderful intro & acceptance speeches, very nice!!
Steverino! Congratulations! Love you.
You're a funny guy, Steve.
😍😍😍
"Before we decided to do it ... the only successful bands were from England, 3,000 miles away, not New Jersey."
Why would Steven leave out Franki Valli and The Four Seasons?
I'm pretty sure he's talking about straight-up rock and roll.
"rock and roll" seems a rather ambiguous term.
He was great with Bruce, but better as Silvio Dante in the Soprano's!
There's too much of an echo in that room - can hardly make out what they're saying!!!
