Many people on YT told me that you've been here but I refused to believe them until I checked on my own. It put a smile on my face to see you've taken a liking to this area. Despite the fact that I live right next to that bridge you've passed to get to the zone, I've never actually been there. Though definitely heard of people still staying there. It really warms my heart to know that such people as Kolya and the babushka are kind of close to me and you are their frequent guest as it appears. Maybe one day I will pluck up my courage to actually go there and find them. Thank you for giving others a glimpse into the area I live in!
Hey! Glad you found the video. I’ve been to Korma a few times and wrote about it in more detail in my book. A quiet little town with friendly people but difficult to find a decent meal from what I remember) Hope life is progressing well there. Thanks for your message. I always like hearing from people who are from the places I visit. Have a great day!
Please visit Kolya, yes, he now lives in the retirement home Shubino, close to Vetka.
Grandma's lived through repression, war, famines and a nuclear disaster, she don't care about no stupid virus :)
So true
Pathduck I mean the virus isn’t stupid, it killed quite allot of people
@@fortnitesucks6273 quite a lot of old people who already had diseases, yeah

Well if she ever catches covid-19 then she would die considering that she's 93 years old, so she should be a little worried. But I think that she lived a good enough life.
you can literally see the babushka overcome with joy when she realized u came. I kinda teared up. great video

I'm with you. Very touching and genuine.
pure emotions in a world filled with hate

Kolya and his poetic funny, heartfelt and beautiful words enrichens me every time....
A true human being!
Thank you Ben for sharing this treasure of a man with us!
The way She lights up when she realizes it's him is beyond awesome!!!
Best content on RUclips easily, don't ever question what you're doing because you're living the dream for all of us in the comment section. Think I'd cry if you stopped uploading 🥺😂

It's like visiting grandparents in the old country, people with such a beautiful spirit.

There are few people you can watch 3 videos of and say "wow I can see the kind of person you are". I have met someone like you before in real life, it is inspiring. This person completely changed my world. Ever since he died, I told myself I will go out of my way to be someone to somebody who could use it, expect nothing in return other than the joy of helping someone else. When you live life like this unironically, it is the most worthwhile.
So if this channel just turned into Ben bringing groceries to old folks in the woods, I'm down.

@010steveo aren't they the westerners. 🤔
Coz im from Sri Lanka, South Asia. And always thought all the european countries are wealthy just like England, France, Italy, and so on.
Then Bald showed us the real image. Trust me it is better than wealthy. The history they carries.
These delivery missions are hands down my favorite videos. I would have loved more of Kolya's bizzaro world wisdom but I appreciate that a world traveler like Bald didn't want to risk infecting all of these people. I hope he goes back soon!

Benjamin I’ve been binging your videos for two days now. I remember watching you prior to now but I didn’t realize just how good of a channel you have until now. You’re doing Gods work spending time with these people you’ve met along your travels.

Very good observation, I missed it.
He got COVID according to his Instagram, after taking it so lightly, not wearing a mask and potentially exposing others to it. He is now in the ICU with double pneumonia. His lungs WILL NOT be the same again even with rehab. Lung fibrosis with COVID is almost always permanent.
