Great reply. They'll never shake their Soviet past.
Baldy, when you meet up with the characters who’ve touched our heart’s and revisit them it means that the world we all wish we could share with our neighbors as you do, is possible and achievable. Thank you for doing what you do.
Kahn Fu-Zhin that is the nicest sentence starting with "baldy" I have ever read.
I love how he basically tells KGB Karen to piss off.
KGB Karen is my new favourite term
underated comment hahah kgb karen
The Karen's are international
He should have taken this lady back to his hotel room. She wasnt looking this bad...
KGB Karen has absolutely killed me hahahahahaha
All the videos on this channel remind me so much of home - and the reaction of the babushka was the best thing ever.
No doubt this is one of the best channels - absolutely love it!
I love how the old lady is going insane because you don't allow her to give something back, she is literally screaming hahaha, what a beautiful lady.
Being a Russian speaker, you’ve gotten warmer emotions from the Babushka, than words could ever tell
So I'm wondering, you as a russian speaker. How much would you rate Balds russian on scale from 1 to 10?
@@MartialLiam Solid 5/10, you can always understand what he is saying, he does a lot of mistakes but that doesn't really matter.
@@MartialLiam he got some problems with understanding what people say but as another native speaker I can confirm solid 5/10 score.
Martial Liam я тоже говорю по русски. I’m also speaking Russian. Il rate balds Russian 6/10 comparing with native speakers. Although he speaks much better than average foreigner
@@MartialLiam in NFKRZ video Bald said, that he doesn't care about grammar, so he have a lot of mistakes, but his vocabulary is pretty good - 6/10

Definitely! As well as Kolya :) India too! Love!
Definitely, can never forget kolya
Agree 100%
got to keep in touch with Kolya. i have found a place in my heart for these people
Sponsor her an iphone or something. So she can just do it virtually.
Or even start blogging about daily life in a Belarusian forest.
I always love the babushka’s reaction she starts off not remembering bald then when he mentions himself and the smile that comes on her face is so wholesome!
On the back of the photo it says, 'For a long and unforgettable memory to friend Aleksey K. from friend Yasha. Look at this photo and remember the way we have come from the school years to the army life. Keep it until we meet. Friend ****'
Thanks for translation
That touched my heart. Must have been one solid friendship!
👋Thank you for the translation.
Very kind of you, I wonder what was written.
Wonder if old Kolya is doing alright. I still remember him saying something like “thank god we don’t have war”. Speaks a lot about how these people have suffered, but nothing compares to war. God bless him.
I love how confident bald is becoming questioning that woman.
The man is a genuine local at this point.
How does he know so many languages? Is he a polyglot?
@@Lara-xu3yc well he's been going around Russia for years now so he has plenty experience, and also i'm pretty sure he used to live in India for some time that's why he knows Hindi

I think you made her blessed old heart burst with joy.
I find it amazing that the babushka is 93 years old and still has that lucidity and energy
That is radiation for you
she is not poisoned by the modern world

@Carpe Diem Thank you for the fact, I will always keep eggs in my diet now because of your comment!
They say when you stop working and moving around is when death has time to catch up to you.
Bald you're the man for doing this for Babushka and Kolya. They're beautiful souls and appreciate the help you give them. You're a great dude trekking through forest and swamps just to deliver some groceries. Much love from the USA.
And just imagine - without Bald probably no one would just learn about their existence...now they are immortal for millions. It is extremely touching. One just starts to like humankind more, when seeing such people as Babushka and Kolya.
Kolya seemed much better this time, his joints might act up but mentally hes pretty well
Is that Kolya? I thought he lived in another location
*in a forest knee deep in water* "What am i doing with my life?" Your living mate, living life to the fullest. Never regret it.
and for me this was the best comment of this video!
Ben - thank you for feeding and checking on these few beautiful people you've met on your journey. This world needs more people like you.
Man , that old lady is like the salt of the earth!,
93 and still going strong.
It must have been hard not to give her a hug

Your knowledge and respect for Belarusian culture is infectious. Big thumbs up 👍
This is one of the most heart warming, soul clenching videos I've ever watched. It haunts and grips my heart to see these folks in the middle of nowhere, who seem to be lacking in so many fundamental ways, yet they are so grateful... they live their lives with an impoverished but calm resilience. And when they see you, they are so warm and grateful. It really is a lesson in humanity to see these people, that against all odds, cling fiercely to their way of life.

@@xltomasslx My eyes welled up with what you said.
Best comment of the video.
You’re a middle aged man visiting people so many have forgotten or turned away from, bringing them food and drinks and money and better still, company. Coming back after a year to visit. You’re doing amazing things with your life my friend. I have so much respect for you. On a less serious note, you also taught yourself Russian. As someone doing the same (my fiancé was born in Izhevsk) that alone is a feat!
The way they invited you inside and gave all the eggs reminded me so much of my childhood spent on the Polish countryside and it warmed my heart! All the older people living around would always invite you and give you food. The older I am, the more I appreciate the slavic culture :,) Thank you for your videos
Yeah, people used to be much more hospitable then.
Kurła, kiedyś to było :p
@@Domee894 Not only then but THERE. The smaller and more remote place you go, the better!
@@Tomasz_Piekarski yeah. Because those people value interactions with a new person.
And vice versa, people in big cities are saturated with these emotions, because the get to meet new people every day
i am also really miss my past culture and great older people
I'm an Aussie who grew up in Australia in the 60's and we had an old Polish woman who lived up our street. As kids we would visit her and she'd always give us her home made cakes while sitting at her kitchen table. She was very old, all alone and couldn't speak English. I think she loved us kids coming around to visit, she had ducks, chickens and her backyard was a jungle of fruit trees and veges
When I saw that 73 old man shaking because of his illness I thought of my parents who are in their early 60s and I left them alone somewhere in eastern Europe. I pray God give me the opportunity to return one day and take care of them.
The “Shaking” that Kolya experienced (in other videos as well) is a strong withdrawal symptom of alcohol abuse. In the other Video where he visited Kolya again and brought him vodka the shivers stopped as soon as he took a sip. You can observe this a few moments later as well while they are sitting in his house. But aside from all of that, have you heard he has people that care for him now? :)
@@lwashere228 It's probably both. It's lifelong alcohol abuse but the leg pain sounds like legit parkinsons.
@@bromisovalum8417 youre probably right, I was just speaking about the shivers/the shaking bc im an alcoholic as well and know these shivers, luckily way not as strong as the shivers that kolya was experiencing but they‘re uncomfortable enough

You earned my subscription with today's video. I have mad respect for someone who would do what you did for those people. I don't care if you just did it for the likes, or for the adventure, or for whatever reason you did it. It was magnificent!
Same like and subscribe people he is good person

I feel a sense of sadness at the end of this video when you say it’s maybe time to see another country. I understand that too but I will forever think of the people you have come back and shown to us in those villages of Belarus. You have a way of taking us on the journey with you and making us feel a part of it. Maybe this is the perfect way to end the adventures in Belarus. Thank you 🙂
He makes us all feel that we are part of his journey.. Such stupendous storytelling!
i feel bad for kolya that poor old man, he just wanted a hug from bald or to hang out for a minute. He probably never gets any visitors..... instead balds all worried about corona. like really. last person in the world that would have it is kolya and balds already been tested multiple times.
