That range was used during the Vietnam war era. We used to collect the bullets at weekends and melt them down to make fishing sinkers. The calibre will mostly be 7.62 mm.

Going To Use My Medal Detecter At A Old Military Camp Can Not Wait Fingers Cross No Bombs 💣
Haha good old O**** Close reserve. Used to walk past it from the bus home every day. Never knew it was an old firing range!
Either did I till now haha
Where is it
Grooves in the bullets are lube grooves for cast lead projectiles
Thanks for the information
Did you notice the bullet hole in the middle of the solo can? I think the spear thing is a plumb bob.
I didn’t noticed that!
The spear thing is concrete pan/form work wedge. There is little slots on the back side of each pan, those wedges go through the slots to hold each pan together.
That wierd wrapped up thing reminds me of some sort of lithium battery
Interesting!
@@MuiTube could be wrong aha
It definitely does look like a LIPO battery out of an RC car or plane or something.
Grouse vid wvtte
Thank you Les! Love you
It's wild to see so many bullets in one spot. Do you keep all the random bits you find or only the interesting ones?
Yeah and I only searched a small area! The junk I throw away!
Do you think this is a good entry level metal detector?
Perfect for it!
