I had a 66 as my first detector. I figured that I’d keep it as a spare, or travel one, if I upgraded later. Really liked the tech on the handset, and the way it worked, but the build quality was poor. Within 6 months, the plastic shaft developed a fault - you could hear plastic bits rattling inside, and the whole thing flexed as you used it. Just unusable ☹️ luckily I was under guarantee, so I got a Vanquish 540, and it was the best thing that could have happened 😃
Amigo a ese detector le tienes que bajar la sensibilidad asta el nivel 2, solo así lo puedes trabajar en arena mojada. Y quizás tengas que bajarle más. Asta la sensibilidad 1
Great vid as always, my boy has this metal detector, i have the simplex so i just test his targets to see what they are before we dig, he found two rings a couple of days ago. prob not worth anything but imissed it with the simplex, whoops. i am going to butlins bognor regis on monday for 4 days holiday, i will be doing a couple of hours on the beach for sure. Will you be down there? is this your local beach?
I started my detecting life with a go find 40 I spent 18 months digging everything wouldn't trust the vdi just dig everything I'm now up to a d2 and love the hobby
Thanks for this one. My 7 y.o is very interested in detecting to find treasure. We are just getting him started with a crappy "security" detector that I was using for finding nails in timber. If I am going out to spend ~$300AUD, what would be your recommendation?
I loved my go find as it went into my backpack easily when I went out for a bike ride, but it went into retirement when I got the simplex for £250 n that’s been my go to machine,I have the ctx, legend, and whites,£51 more the simplex just far superior
Iv got the 66 and have to admit it’s a bit outdated now, on its release the go find filled a small gap in the market. But what is still currently in its favour is it just folds up to nothing and will sit nicely in any suitcase 🧳 with its almost flat profile. I tend to think of it as just a fun machine for the Occasional day trip to the beach or a holiday definitely not for a Serious hobbyist but can still pack a punch.
I’m looking at this metal detector to buy do you think the false signals could have been the rocks around that could have contained metallic material or why do you think? I’ve had a metal detector before but it broke so I’m looking at a new one would you recommend this one for just starting?
I bought a Go-Find 66 about 4 years ago. I don't know why. I never use it for all the same reasons as you highlighted on your video i.e. poor build quality, poor discrimination especially of bottle caps, slow recovery and not much good on wet sand.
😎I still say Aron my nox 600 is still best m/c after I watch one on of clips 4 months ago, you got me into hobby I love it I even taken on paddle board around coves 😂😂👍
As a complete beginner and just about to buy my first detector I was looking at this one, Think Im going to change my mind is there any reccomendation you have as a novice that is top quality. Price doesnt really matter😁🤟
Dear Aaron...I live in a tourist area with long beaches full of beach bars..beach hotels ..many sunbeds.etc..best day was 3 hours hunt ..90 euros 😂..many 2 euros coins.. There are many junk as well..like bottle caps pull tabs etc...I try to dig coins...instead of looking for rings and jellewery because if hunt those..I usually dig...so many junk.. aluminum etch..those beaches near me have millions of targets...I would love to start finding some rings though..what's your advice...dig everything? I use an old minelab explorer 2 😂
I’m curious when using the smart phone app do you have pinpoint audio I just got the 66 and Im using my phone with wireless ear buds to have a wireless detecting experience but when I turn on the pinpoint function it’s totally silent ?
5.20 The Go Find isn't the only one that sees those damned Crown caps. So does the Legend . They come in at mid 30;s to even as high as mid 40;s and they are Iron. Nokta needs to do something about that. And the Fero check isn't that good at discriminating them neither. Had around £48 with the Legend so far on 3 hunts. Went with the E.Trac mid day Saturday and had my first Gold ring of the year and a Silver plus around £14 . Thats a machine to compete with ! As for the Go Find ? Not a chance would i waste good money on one. If you have the best you can afford then back it up with the same or similar . Arran , if you know of a way to knock crown caps from the Legend could you share that please. I wish the updates were soon . Well done on the finds .
It seems a half decent machine for a beginner, although I'd still recommend a 250 2nd hand. Pandora charm nice, Sarah has about 12 cat charms on hers lol. Gl and hh Ben and Sarah
So what's the best sub £200 detector folks? I'm thinking of coming back to the hobby for a bit of light beach work and thought the Quest x5 and Ace 200i looked good cheapo choices. I looked at Dr Otek but thought he normally made pizza 😁 Any thoughts welcome :-)
Thank you for the plug for Dr.Ötek machines. Nice to see the older machines still being used.
Good honest review, I have had one tucked away for a while and must get it out again for a play on the beach.
Very interesting Aaron. Great to see how other machines perform. As always, lovin' Mr Fiddler......Pound!...😁
Should you be on a quick trip somewhere and have limited space, I think this could be a handy addition to your luggage.
Indeed

Do like it's compact size

Not my local beach but you may see me for sure 😉
Go find brother now u no what you are talking about u legend
The Bluetooth coin id works well. You can also change and make adjustments on your cell phone, just like the control panel
That beach looks terribly difficult to dig into! Is it common to find beaches in the UK that are so full of stones?
Bluetooth can be for headphones. The Bluetooth is for your cell phone so just use wireless earbuds and boom, you have wireless headphones

El go find 44 es muy bueno en arena seca, pero en arena mojada es muy malo. A menos que le bajes la sensibilidad. Saludos amigo. Yo soy tu fan
Cuál es la diferencia con el go 66 y 22?

Yeah they are over priced for what they are, but they are very handy to have just in case…
Thank you for video. Which Minelab MD would you recommend for wet sand ?

I had the Go Find 44. I've now got the Vanquish 540. Great detector and half the price of the Nox 800.

The simplex is only slightly more in price and a bettwr machine makes this go find obsolete really
Çok güzel video kardes❤

$80. Used good?
Blue tooth would drain the battery.

Find the extra £30 and get a Vanquish 340 for £229.99, just my opinion.
Dr otek was the machine that got me hooked to see if id stick it out.
@@dang1086 dr otek mt xr or mt xe the xe is bloody brilliant on the beach wet or dry sand
ive also got the go find 60 now redundant as my back up main detector is minelab explorer 2
Mr piddler! Where’s he gone? He’s gone for a P!
Go find 11 it’s trash .
Hopefully when on holiday's Down South..they don't steal it out of your room...
