I cant watch the music video. Its too heavy for me as someone who lost their bf to suicide, over came suicide myself, and just recently got out of depression. BTS literally saved my life and was the reason I decided I had to get help (love yourself trilogy, and agust Ds song where he talks about the therapist) and its come full circle. Ive gotten two promotions at work. Ive made it and got an apartment and have tickets to see his concert now. Im going to try to prepare myself mentally to watch the video this week.
Don't rush yourself into watching the music video, it will still be there when you are ready. You should be so proud of yourself to accomplish everything you have despite all that you've been through, I know it's not easy as I have depression myself. I hope you fun at Suga's concert, I'm going too on May 3rd. Stay strong.
i really loved the discussion y’all had the end. it’s great to see people appreciate his raw and honest lyrics bc like y’all said it takes an incredible amount of courage to be this vulnerable and share his trauma so candidly like this to the entire world. a lot of us struggle with talking about such personal things with people around us let alone for millions of people… incredibly proud of him for this. not only is this such a healthy outlet for him and he’s self healing with his music it’s also incredibly comforting for those of us who listen to his music!

Someday, during his job, he had a car accident and crushed his shoulder. He had to keep it secret from BigHit because he feared they wouldn't allow him to debut, and, for years, he had to perform with a destroyed shoolder. Suga reveal all of this to the members later and they all supported him. The pills he is taking are not drugs, but antidepressants.

Agust D, Yoongi, SUGA describes his past in this MV and it as well identifies how "WE" as individuals have been going through... Hence he was saying to RM that their music speaks to ARMY and that is WHY we are here, and that is WHY he writes music.... I could completely resonated into each & every lyrics he wrote and sang, I was so heart broken. The MV is as GOOD as what he is displaying it to us so wonderfully with his raw lyrics... I appreciate how you to totally get what goes on with Suga as Agust D. Idols are supposed to have a clean image, no tats, no scandals, no cigs, no cursing. So he created Agust D so he can say everything he wants to say without much restrictions. As he mentioned in Suchwita with RM last night, Agust D has much more freedom than Suga of BTS and Producer Suga. That's why in his Agust D trilogy, there's so much anger and stories of his anxiety and insecurities which he couldn't express as a member of BTS. In this last part of the trilogy, D-Day, there's still a hint of frustration as there's still so much bs being thrown at them to this day, but you can feel that he's gradually going through a healing process, as he said he's no longer angry. People who have trauma but can't express themselves the way Yoongi does in his music, and people tend to see how other people would react to the story, of trauma that people like Yoongi share with the public, would they actually listen and emphasize them or they would just hear and pity them. there are lots of differences between those, and the healing journey from trauma is a life long committed journey
