I've never made wearables, tho my mother taught me to crochet when i was young. Now in retirement, I'm determined to make something for me. This could be it in your beautiful yarn.

I crocheted my first wearable crochet cardigan for my mom last year! It was her birthday present, and she loved it! 🥰 It wasn't bad for my first try, really, and her friend even wanted one! I can't wait to finish my second top, which I'm making with EFA yarn and an EFA pattern! 🧶❤️🐙

I made my Mum a knitted top. She's recently moved into residential care, she will be 93 in mid-July. Sadly one of my brothers emptied Mums house and threw it away. Well it went to a thrift shop, but I don't know where!
But I'm just going to make her a new one as she wore it regularly and not just when I was popping in for a visit.

That is such a cute top! Yes, it's going on my never ending list! I've started the Pompaeo (sp) top, alas, other beautiful designs keep popping up that I MUST MAKE NOW!!! It's not even half way done. I'll get back to it. The Crema yarn is a dream! I've been working on the Mou Leipeis poncho and I was getting it done quickly until I got to the seaming and I kept sewing it up the wrong way. So I'm taking a break and making my last Creery sweater for my other niece.

Now I don’t know why I thought it was too hard in the past. I picked up crocheting during Covid and only made bucket hats. Cardigans are the best.
