Sweeeeeeet! I'm a out to embark on my first crown moulding, coping saw extravaganza. I think this jig will help Momma's bathroom come out the way she hopes.
It takes a minute to learn, but it’s so so satisfying to be able to teach an apprentice to do it on the job. Especially after they’ve seen these b s videos
Cut with compound cut and adjust miter if need. Pres with leg at horse, same horse where is my chop saw and cope from top with jig saw. It is how I do. Why I do so. 1. I'm capable turn compound angles in my head 2. I can cope with jig saw and free hand.
WardenMashups id say he'd be able to do it no worries but has done it bad to show how the jig works. It would be beneficial for someone working on their own house that isn't a full time tradie.
So your coping a sixteen foot piece of crown and inserting it in that jig? I've been building houses and trimming them for forty five years. Learn how to cope a molding properly in the first place, and never mind that thing.
Dixon Peer Always willing to criticize but never willing to show a solution. Id love to learn from someone with your experience. Put your talent where your mouth is and show how its done. Ill be your second sub if you do
T Willey he'll never do it. The concept was lost on him, especially if he can't realize how much more beneficial it is on a sixteen footer. Plus, it's not a jig for thirty year carpenters. It should go without saying that a true thirty year man can cope successfully without the jig.
All ways big mouths don’t stay in job site that long ider lay off or no friends....jig is good for people that start practicing coping ok so let the guy teach something am sure a lot of people don’t have that idea before so have fun and do a good job 👍

Not everyone works in this field, so your comment is bullshit!

That's a mighty big ask for 95% of the 'finish carpenters' out there today.
