After so many years, what I could still remember clearly about Xenogears was the complex relationship between Myyah (Miang) Hawwa and Ramsus. She created him, a clone of Cain, then abandoned him. She reincarnated in the body of a girl Ramsus loved, and continued that relationship, while being his chief lieutenant. At the end, she gave up on him one more time, mocking him and eventually killed by him because she could not kill herself. Whenever I remember Xenogears, I always wonder: What feelings did she have towards Ramsus while she was the 998th vessel, Hawwa?
I cried because I did not finish this game. My memory card was misplaced, maybe stolen containing the game here as well as the game cd was lost as well. I think it was a girl who did it. I hope she finished this game. She has to. Thanks in advance for you being precocious. This game was one of my favorites in the RPG realm. I feel very sad upon the things. I hope you felt happy defeating the game. This game plays.
+Taga-akin at si Inggo So sad bro you didn't finish this game. One way or another, you did finish this game. Games are supposed to be enjoyed and not finished. The magic is in there.
I still am very sad for not defeating evil. My power was not enough. I have to be stronger for my friends, my dreams, my wishes and my hopes. Light, give me power. Power to defeat evil, power to encompass things and power to conquer fears.
This brings back so many memories....I think i'll download this from PSN tomorrow. Can't wait to play it again to the end! btw. where did you get that wallpaper? Elly looks so cute in that one ^^
Rhythmically it feels unnatural like they are just forcing the best words that will fit a predetermined meter and groove. Disney does this for their songs in Japan and albeit being more professionally done it still sounda forced. You see this alot on English versions of japanese songs as well. This is why a lot of jpop songs sound like childrens songs in English. A lot of japanese songs also tend to be at a higher tempo as well to compensate for a lack of natural groove.
>Jpop songs sound like children I dont know what you have been listening to, but can you give me your best example? there are type of Jpop, and assure you're cherry picking the whole genre. And expand to me what do you mean by "a lot." And also, being high tempo is a matter of a more exposed songs of Jpop, please show me your depth in Japanese music.
Meow Meow A rationed response. I shall oblige. Pop music in general is simplified so this also applies to the west, but a lot of jpop is a lot more child song like in their cadence (this is all admittedly culturally subjective). Take an artist like Kyari Pamyu Pamyu and her western influence Lady Gaga and the difference is readily apparent. But both are somewhat fringe on the pop spectrum so I recommend looking at the song Kiseki from Green or most modern jpop ballads. Their melodies and cadance are very reminiscent classic children songs in the west (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc) This doesn't make them bad songs, but when forced into english they come off as stiflied or awkward. As far as examples of these go through some English versions of Japanese songs on RUclips. Sometimes it doesn't matter as much, such as a lot of the Final Fantasy songs. Their English isn't always perfect but the melody and harmony compensate.

I guess so, but every game should be finished for your fulfillment. Happiness will be there.
You got what you needed.

Don't still give up if you did not defeat the game. Many things will come after that. Leap forward and go onwards.
@1sttobalman Really? Cool! I have actually been addicted to all things Xenogears-related ever since the game came out. XD

@mechahalcon Yeah, I agree. Somehow her voice just seems to go along with the song better.
I miss you square soft....
Same.

dunno why you guys actually thought this plays in the game
This is from Creid... XD
@Darkvivi21 I got it from a site called etherealvold . net, I think.
The Japanese in this seems forced. I actually prefer the English in this case. Was probably written in English.
Dirk Diggler What do you mean by "forced?"
