🎄trying a slightly different style of vlog, which is more of a video + traiditonal diary. I had grand plans for my first christmas but ultimately december was a difficult month where we fell sick & didn't have the energy for any festive activities. I also cancelled several plans & couldn't continue vlogmas. I try to be authentic but also strive for my videos to be a bit more happy + upbeat because I want you to feel lifted up when you watch. that means that everytime I'm feeling down, I don't really know what to create. but as I said in the video, we all experience a full spectrum of human emotions & I guess that means I want to share different sides of life in this space going forward! 🎊 HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024! Hi Magali, happy new year 🎉🎉it’s going to be a year since I moved over to Ireland in a couple of weeks. When I see you videos I miss it & wonder why I moved. There’s still lots of settling in to do here but now and again it’s important that I remember to remind myself about why I moved over & what it is my vision is. Sometimes the vision seems hard to achieve like it’s going to take a couple of years to happen and it makes it difficult for me to concentrate and be present and grateful for what I have. Love the idea of slowing down, writing, going to a coffee shop or somewhere outdoors and just have time for myself and take up space. I really enjoy your work you put out but some of it is hard to watch (because of what I said above) but I’ve told myself that’s ok & I should do what makes me happy.

Wow Magali, I had the chance to connect with you on another platform but missed out, but what are the odds, just randomly stumbled upon one of your blogs. First kudos on moving out, to live alone , it ain’t easy but by experience i got to tell you it’s the best. Although choosing to move out from a city you grew up in and live alone in Goa is a whole different ball game. I did move from Mumbai to Goa,for about 4 months and i got to say it was tough at first,with the lack of reliable transportation, the ease and accessibility of getting things done fast, meeting new people was also daunting task as everyone is so on a vacation😂. But something that made that 4months worth was the immense silence , the peacefulness, away from the crowded and bustling noises of the streets of Mumbai. Yeah there are other great places around India , but if your roots are from Goa it’s definitely your best bet to jump onto and explore something new.Keep moving forward girl!!

My favorite youtuber and my comfort corner since first time I found your channel in 2020...before shifting to goa from delhi. Me n my hubby( goin goan) shifted to south goa last year. Suffered same small problems like transport, internet connection etc...but still i will never regret living in this peaceful heaven. Wish you a Very Happy New Year 🎉🥳!!
haha the cafe I went to is family run & one of the girls was staring at me a bit. which I don't mind, they're probably wondering what I'm doing alone with a big camera pointed at me. that's why I smiled. I avoid smiling at men because you never know which one of them takes it as an invitation to be a creep (happened with a shop owner near my place, I was just being friendly but then I stopped talking to him & also stopped visiting his shop totally).
