Bark at the Moon Lyrics:
Screams break the silence
Waking from the dead of night
Vengeance is boiling
He's returned to kill the light
Then when he's found who he's looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him
Bark at the moon
Years spent in torment
Buried in a nameless grave
Now he has risen
Miracles would have to save
Those that the beast is looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him
Bark at the moon
Hey, bark at the moon
They cursed and buried him Along with shame
And thought his timeless soul had gone
In empty burning Hell-unholy one
But now he's returned to prove them wrong
So wrong, uh yeah baby
Howling in shadows
Living in a lunar spell
He finds his heaven
Spewing from the mouth of hell
And when he finds who he's looking for
Listen in awe and you'll hear him
Bark at the moon
Yeah bark at the moon
Yeah bark at the moon
Bark at the moon

Man Daisley’s friggin’ great. Listen to how tight he is. Top notch bass playing here.
Man those freakin triplets.
Realky dont know how he played on the track finger or pick. But sounds good anyway. I like picks on bass.
Bob Daisley has less credit than he deserves..he has created such basslines, and so many great lyrics for Ozz!
And all the lyrics for the first 5 albums, bass on 5 of the first 6 albums. Bob and Jake E Lee wrote all the music for the Ultimate sin and Bob wrote all the lyrics, but was fired cause Ozzy is a nut case, so he didn't play on that one. Bob has as much to do with Ozzy's success as Randy Rhoads does in my opinion, that being said Randy is my favorite musician ever, so don't take that the wrong way.
@@danieljohnston1798 All the blame can be put on Sharon.
When I was a kid, I would always listen closely to the bass line of this song. Bob's playing has such a deep rich sound. It was like a giant standing in the background.
Daisley ruled fn legend.
That Bass fill at 1:27-1:28 is awesome!
Damn, I knew Bob was good, but... Wow, great post. Thanks.
Tommy Is very good!
I put on my headphones when i was 13 years old, 1983, played Now you see me, now you don't, and i dreamed away as if i was recording the drums myself.
Tommy's drumming had a great influence on my drum style when i grew up.
Speak of the Devil is a real dream come true, you can hear Tommy do the things he does best!
Always loved Tommy Adridge
Carmine Appice no Tommy. he didn't just get out on the cover.
Jack Bruce used a pick in Cream too. So did Felix Pepperaldi in Mountain and of course McCartney in the Beatles and Wings. Picks can be great for harmonious bass players.
Sounds like a videogame level.
How did you post this without getting copyright claimed? I'm trying to post a medley with just a snippet of Bark At The Moon and SME keeps blocking it
Thanks for posting! If you have a second, we uploaded an Eddie Van Halen tribute video. As fellow music lovers, we'd love if you would check it out. It's on our page. Don't go too hard on us :)
Ozzy's had some talented bass players thru the years, thhis was....Lee Kirslake?
Tommy Aldridge on drums :)
Not, He is Mr. Bob Daisley...
Lee Kerslske played drums on “Blizzard of Ozz”.
This is Bob Daisley on bass.
Very cool to hear this. Apparently part of the falling out Tommy had with Ozzy was the original mix - no second bass drum included. And your guy is the world’s renown double bass player. Sounds like this may be from the 2002 remix where they added it back in.
Bob Daisley created all the bass lines for Ozzy's first 6 album's and ge wrote most of the lyric's on the first 7 albums. The first 2 where Bob Daisley on bass and Lee Kerslake on drums. Both got screwed over by sharon and ozzy as has most artist who've worked with them.
The bass track is wonderfully clear. The drum track, especially the bass drums, is terrible. As was the overall production of this album. And it’s sad, because the songs are incredible. Bob and Tommy are both amazingly wonderful players, but someone really hamstrung the drum sounds of this stuff.
