Well how good was tonight's bed time tv. Wow guys that was a lark and a half.. that pot lid and the mustard jar to start with then the penny inks to that fish pipe... 🐟well done im well jealous😂 #teammudpies 🖤🤍 and i have to say i love you even more having my football clubs magpie as your logo.. as we say in Newcastle... Up the mags 🖤🤍
I was intrigued by the German mustard pot you found. An internet search found that it was made by William Lingner, a delicatessen in London (Old Compton St Soho, and Fenchurch St). Interesting to know that there was a demand for German mustard in England - although maybe only from German expats in London. Keep larking, mudpies, and cheerio from Dublin!
Got sick, fell behind, but back and loving watching you two squelchers finding treasures !! Some great finds and as always, love those pink toe beans 🤗 Can't wait to go along on your next adventures !! Onward Mudpies 😁 Love and hugs 🥰🥰 xx
I don't realize how much I've missed your exuberant vids until a new one appears. Keep up the squelching, legends! Love and hugs from me in New Mexico USA.
Ahh great little adventure this one - great to see you both, it made my Thursday 5 squillion million gabillion times better! I loved all the finds - my fave was the pipe and the grapes mould - some lovely historical stuff! Josie you need to try French's mustard, it's basically mustard for mustard lighweights, great on any barbeque stuff, veg included. I hope youre feeling much better by the way! I cant wait for the next one - take care Mudpies - lotsa lurve! 👏👏👏👏❤😊
What a great lark! Much respect, 11 km is not easy to do, even on dry ground. Oh how I miss hiking. Disabled woman here who always feels like I'm out there with you. ❤❤
WOW!!! A lot of different and new treasures! Love both of the pipes, the tree one and the fishy one... 😁 That creepy looking face really looked more than evil... 😈 Good thing you left it behind. Recon you would have needed an exorcism on that thing... "shudders". I agree with you Josie, dolls and doll parts have always made my skin crawl. 😱 I had the trauma of my life when I was 7 yrs. old and a doll that had been given to me by a woman that was a friend of my adopted parents. (for whatever reason, I never liked that woman. Why? I have no idea. She just felt wrong somehow) Anyhow... That woman gave me a doll which I never wanted to play with, so it just sat on a shelf in my room. I swear I saw the "thing" blink at me once but, chalked it up to my imagination. A few weeks later I heard something move/slide on the shelf it was sitting on so, I was looking to see what it could have been. Next thing I know, the flippin doll BLINKED at me and toppled off the shelf! I ran screaming bloody murder out of my room!! 😲😱 Parents told me it was my imagination but, I REFUSED to have that thing anywhere near me! So, I went out into the far corner of the back yard, dug a DEEP hole, went back inside, found an empty shoe box. Which I remember using the lid to "scrape" up the horrid thing into the box. Didn't even want to touch it... Threw all of her clothes into the box, on with the lid and out to the backyard with it. Plopped it into the hole I had dug, filled in the dirt, STOMPED on the "grave" and even piled rocks on top of it so "it" couldn't escape! 👻🤯 I've never gotten over that thing!!! Shortly thereafter, I got rid of every doll I had. I've never trusted those "things" again after that! I'm 64 now so, it's been a few years... 😬
Great finds! Josie I heard you say you are not fond of mustard. I also know you do lots of biking. If you ever get leg cramps from riding your bike then take a spoonful of mustard to help them go away. I know it sounds weird but there is something in the mustard that helps with leg cramps. That comes from my foot doctor. I have a nerve disease. It is called Charcot Marie Tooth (named after the doctors who discovered it). It is in the same family as Muscular Dystrophy. Where ever I have a nerve in my body it will kill the nerve which in turn kills the muscles. I am 58 years old now and I was told when I was a child that by the age of 30 or younger I would be in a wheelchair. Thank goodness I am still walking (not well but standing and walking). I found a great foot doctor who helped me and my Sister. He fixed my ankles so they don't move and collapse over. I would show a picture but some people are sensitive to that sort of thing. I hope the mustard trick helps you if you have leg cramps after all of your bike cruising. 😊
Woohoo, another awesome video from the Mudpies with loads of awesome finds 😎😎 thank you Josie and Andy. Oh and Josie, get some rest and get better soon 😊😊
Excellent haul of goodies guys. The German earthenware is a treasure. The design on the pipe was different to the norm, nice find. Love the lid Josie and those pork pie pots, well spotted. Superb control in the mud Andy, as you stepped off at the start of the video. Skill of the old and wise!
Wow great finds ! I especially like the grape jelly Mold and the rose creme lid is wonderful. Thank you for taking us along this lark and hope you feel better Josie.❤
Hi Josie & Andy What a EPIC lark!!! Great lid! Long lark, 11K is a long haul in the mud. Every time Andy goes down a slope, I can't help but think he's going to take a spill. Still crack up when I recall that clip. The slow-mo fall Sorry to hear about your sniffles. Those bike races can take a lot out of you & your immune system. Supplement time Take care & get well soon!!!!!
What a fun adventure, thanks for taking us along with y'all! My first thought regarding the creepy face was that you'd found a bartman... But nope! Oh well, great finds! Glad you're feeling better. ❤
Hello there, we kept thinking maybe we should of kept the creepy face but watching it again....I'm pleased we didn't 🤣😮! A bartman would be beyond a dream, take care 😻
Wow. Epic trip. I got a good chuckle out of the end, though. The word may have ended with a carelessly dropped exploding cork, but the very next day...the cat came back.😉😁
Hey Josie and Andy...nice to see you deep in the mud...lol... the German mustard pot was awesome and the Rose lid was especially nice. I enjoy the research you do on them...thanks for educating us ! Till next time....cheers and hugs from Ontario, Canada..........Wanda
@@Mudpies LOL. Indeed. Can you imagine taking that thing home and then waking in the middle of the night to find it had moved and was leaning against a lamp facing you??!?! Eeeeek!!
Love the mold. Beauty. What an exciting lark...peeling back fistfuls of seaweed to reveal loads of treasure! Oh, but now a broken heart that you left Creepy Guy behind.
I saw the end of the torpedo bottle you found and immediately thought that leveled off, and a small hole drilled in the end, it would make an awesome lamp shade for a small study lamp. Use a bit of steel or copper tubing with a curve in it for the stand and wire feed. This would also work well for the tops of colored glass bottles or jugs you find broken off.
You seem to be feeling better during the round-up, Josie. Happy to see it. 😍😁 Really eclectic group of finds this time out. I think you should've kept that creepy old man face. 😂 You could make a Janus figurine, with a smiling face on one side and that guy on the other. 🤣🤣If you think about it, things haven't changed much since the day of Rose's Cold Cream; we just have unintelligible ingredients that nobody can pronounce. 🤣You'll have to do an update video soon of the Mudpies Museum. 😁Loved Jaffa's cameo at the end, as always. See you next time. 😊😘🤗😸💖👌👍👋Edit: I roared with laughter when you said, "Exsanguinated", Josie. I agree that you were likely physically drained, but I'm equally sure you still had all your blood. No vampires allowed in the pelaton, eh. 🤣🤣
You are a legend Noralee! I'm pleased you noticed the exagination🔥. I'm much better now and will be back out there reaping souls in the next bike race! Take care 💗
10:30pm Pacific time. Washington State. I really enjoyed the video. You guys got a whole bunch of very cool things. I really enjoyed watching you. Josie I hope you feel better and you don't get sicker from going out there in the cold and wet.
