Musnaf of Imam Ibn Abi Shebah, Volume 7 page 432 Tradition 37045: “Narrated Muhammad bin Bashir from Ubaidllah bin Umar from Zaid bin Aslam that his father Aslam said: ‘When the homage (baya) went to Abu Bakr after the Messenger of Allah, Ali and Zubair were entering into the house of Fatima to consult her and revise their issue, so when Umar came to know about that, he went to Fatima and said : ‘Oh daughter of Messenger of Allah, no one is dearest to us more than your father and no one dearest to us after your father than you, I swear by Allah, if these people gathered in your house then nothing will prevent me from giving order to burn the house and those who are inside.’ So when Umar left, they (Ali and Zubair) came , so she (Fatima) said to them: ‘Do you know that Umar came here and swear by Allah to burn the house if you gather here, I swear by God that he (Umar) will execute his oath, so please leave wisely and take a decision and don’t gather here again.’ So they left her and didn’t gather there till they give baya to Abu Bakr.” All the narrators are authentic as they are the narrators of Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim. Muhammad bin Bashir: Imam Al-Dhahabi said: ‘Thabt’ (Al-Kaashif, v2 p159), Imam Ibn Hajar Asqalani said: ‘Thiqa’ (Taqrib al-Tahdib, v2 p58). the companions are trustworthy Muslims. chain of narrations is a method, if one studies it, one will realize it's unlike anything before it. for one hadith authentication it must have multiple chains, hundreds of students and teachers' biography plus more is mentioned and used. if any discrepancy or characters' of the narrators fail to be upright, it will be rejected. following your desire or a desire detected by others' desire is avoided completely. again some mohdessen has more restricted criterion (the narrator in the chain must include the action of Muhammad (S.A.W.) during the narration and it must match exactly with those multiple narrators). how many of us know the weight of one authentic hadith? Alquran didn't say to obey Muhammad (S.A.W.) till he dies. Allah the wise knows best and HE the exalted facilitates his(S.A.W.) teachings and actions to be well documented in deep detail asif he (S.A.W.) is here for proof and guidance for generations. notice what Allah said in Alquran, "we sent down the remembrance 'zikire' and we will protect it" his (S.A.W.) sunna is part of the 'zikire'. Have you ever seen anyone's life preserved like his (S.A.W.) not even any close (5%)? none at all, maybe his(S.A.W.) companions by comparison. we know how he (S.A.W.) lay down to sleep or how he (S.A.W.) goes to the toilet/shower or how he (S.A.W.)lost his tooth, how his (S.A.W.) hair looks like at young/old age etc. Appreciate the efforts of companions(S.A.W.) (r.a) and those who came after them, especially in the chains of narrations if you have some understanding. shaitan wants to break the chains and belittle his (S.A.W.)companions/family asif those who are close to him have no confidence in him (S.A.W.) in order to undermine the message but it passes the test of time. may Allah guide all human beings who seek the truth and those who love virtues. But Hadith from Sahih Muslim do say be good to my Ahlul bayt. By defending those who hurt the Ahlul bayt, You are not being good to Ahlul bayt. I am not referring to Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman radhiallah anhum.

There are sahih hadith in Musnad Ahmad that say those who have a grudge against Ahlul bayt will be in the fire! Ali RA in a sahih hadith has said that their will be two groups in the fire, one for their extra love of me and those who hate me.
