Great video, was lovely to meet you at the NEC show today. Very good comparison of two great vehicles.

Fantastic review of the main differences, very well sumarised. Drone footage is cool too, well flown ;-). Is there much of a difference in price in the UK, as that might be another factor in making a decision. Also, I wonder that the Plus might be too big to use everyday compared to the Nugget, e.g. parking in normal spaces or taking to work. Love the fixed toilet although the downside is that you can’t move it outside into the awning or behind a hedge somewhere 😆

Thanks guys. You will be in a good position soon with the arrival of your nugget plus to be well placed to add to this list . Agree with your points re: parking and toilet :) . Being able to park our SWB pretty much anywhere with not much thought about length has been a big factor to us, with it being our main family vehicle for everything. Price wise- great question. This website takes you to the current Ford UK pricing info www.ford.co.uk/content/dam/guxeu/uk/documents/price-list/commercial-vehicles/PL-Transit_Custom_Nugget.pdf
and on page 4 there's some further info on OTR prices. Looks like about £4000 - £4500 difference but worth checking specifics with Ford Dealers for anyone wanting more info.

Another great vlog, thanks for sharing. It does seem that the Plus gives quite a bit more space inside. Are there any downsides to choosing a Plus over the standard Nugget?

Thanks for watching. Great question and one we are working on doing something on in the New Year. We have wonderful subscribers who have been in touch who are Nugget Plus owners so will see if we can do something on this. Personally I would think that the length would be a major factor for many. For us, using the SWB for daily use and needing to park in a variety of places makes it a more practical choice for our current situation than the Nugget Plus would be.

I like the nugget plus, but would rather have extra storage than a fixed toilet, great review though

Hi Stuart. Yes there is a lot of height. Guess different preferences will dictate. Thanks for watching and thanks for you kind comment- much appreciated.

Great vlog, thanks for all the info you provided. My wife and I are saving money to buy a campervan and the Nugget Plus is up on the list of favorites. I have a couple of questions though: is the upstairs bed big enough for someone 6.5 tall and how cold does it get (can you use it in winter)? Thanks and happy travels!

Hi Tommaso. Thanks so much for watching the video. The Nugget Plus is great isn't it. Not sure if you've seen the vlog we did specifically on this under our 'product focus' playlist. In that we show a little more of the bed- which is essentially the same size as the Nugget SWB. Bed measurement in pop top is 2m in length- I guess it depends if you can be slightly diagonal. It is a very comfy bed...Other option might be the downstairs bed as the cut out under the sink may leave your legs overhang if needed? Can you try one out to see? This might be a good option given your height. In relation to how cold it gets in the pop top. There is no doubt in winter it is not as warm as the downstairs bed however we have used it in Winter both with and without a thermal wrap, with plenty of layers and bedding. You also have the diesel heater although as mentioned that's not as effective in the pop top as it is downstairs, but it really isn't bad and another massive asset to this van. Without a hard top available currently in the UK, this is our only option and thermal wrap is the way forward for us in very cold evenings, however if you are in Europe might be worth considering the hard top version too? Take a look at Cali Camper Family on RUclips if not done already.

@@SilverNuggetAdventure thanks for your answer! I will look into the thermal wrap as the hard top version in not an option for us due to parking restrictions. Happy travels!

Hello! I wondered if any Nugget owners had been asked to fit a tracker for insurance purposes. We have a Nugget Plus on the way. We looked at the cheaper S7 tracker but there is a lot of options!
