Blackpool back in the day was the mecca for arcade classic games but not now :-) but every cloud we have Arcade Club Blackpool full of Retro Goodness :-) cheers Shaun great vid.
When you walked up to that Paradise Lost machine I thought "-Well, that sums it up quite well"! Awesome and bonkers video as always, keep it up young man!
Cool to see Blazing Angels quite a rare cab and I know Rich has been looking for that cab for ages. The arcades are not the same as we remember but luckily we have retro arcades and museums now that have taken their place for us that have nostalgia. Thanks for the mention mate
Such a shame to see after those golden years of arcades 80s/90s. I hope our meets in Blackpool helped. Happy Dayz has outrun2sp twin and two pandora box cocktail cabs.
Absolute bonkers as always. I remember my first C+VG mag in ‘84 having a review of Blackpool arcades. Row upon row of cabs in each pier arcade. Looked amazing. Never made it there at the time. Now, what’s left are mainly the same dwindling games. Blazing Angels now getting rare. No one has the new Centipede game it seems which is pretty good and has boss battles. Too expensive I wonder? Thank goodness for Arcade Club Blackpool….. will get there soon hopefully.
Shaun, you absolutely crack me up. You come across totally and utterly genuine....and a bit bonkers! Great video. Keep them coming.
Thanks for those kind comments mate. I love it: 'genuine and bonkers'!

Yes we are lucky we have places like AC Blackpool, and quite a few other retro places across the country, although not on the scale of AC :)
The good thing is that the right people have those machines now. And so fingers crossed those machines will be maintained for the foreseeable 🤞
Good point well made mate.
Modern arcades are so depressing to oldies like us. Thank goodness for Arcade Club and all the other venues offering retro goodness

Thank you Pinge!

Yes it's a shame but a sign of the times really. Yes fortunately there's quite a few proper true retro arcades we can still visit - yours included!
£1 burger man Chris Higgins on dale st ..... excellent 👍👍 loads of machines..

Hi John. Yes they did thanks. I thought it strange that Happy Dayz was closed - I possibly missed its opening hours?

Hi Matt. Arcade Club Bury has the new Centipede Chaos game - I've played it recently with Tronads and it's a pretty good blast.
@@ShaunsArcade Hello Shaun. I’ll take a look next time I’m up at AC. Cheers.
Higgits in dale street lots of retro machines
Is this in Blackpool?
@@ShaunsArcade yes walk up from central pier 6-8 dale street blackpool..
@@OpticalTurnkey Thank you! I definitely need to check that out!
It’s such a shame! I feel like it happened right under our nose :(
You sir are frigging nuts, and I love it 🤣
I'll take that as a compliment! Thanks mate 😄
I remember Mr Bees. You should check out Retro Station in Halifax (West Yorkshire) and also Blast from the Past Arcade, also in Halifax.
Thanks mate. I haven't visited those yet.
You forgot Coral Island's 3 player (was 4 but it's semi-perma-broken) Outrun 2 SDX.
BTW Shaun, where's do you find Buccaneers? On your Buccan'ead.
Haha!
The OutRun's have gone, Luke, which is a shame.
@@ShaunsArcade It's gone? Dear lord, that was their best game.
@@Hellwyck Yep. There's always Mario Kart GP...
Does anywhere have super punch out....love that game...
Arcade Club Bury, last time I was there.
@@ShaunsArcade thank you
Go to the daddy 😂😂😂
it's missing sounds
Not for me? It is quiet though. I'm getting a bluetooth mic for the next one I think as my wired one no longer works.
