Now that I've stopped crying long enough to write this, it's like your singing about my life and believe it or not my name is Diane and I've suffered not one not two but three TBI and have been diagnosed with dementia. This song will be in my phone forever, and tell that sweet wonderful Diane that Diane says hello 🤗
In 1985 I suffered a TBI. There is extreamly little of the next 2 years that I have any memory of. My largest fear is to not know where I am, who I am, and who those I hold dearest are. Bless those who suffer their memory loss for to me that is the hardest torment any of us will ever have to go threw...
Your killer man saw you once back in like 2013 in prestonsburg ky. Was a killer show and the most authentic country singer I’ve ever heard live you literally are as good as you sound in your music videos.
oh man......hard to see the keyboard through the tears. alzheimer's is a horrible disease, my dad had it and (when he had clarity) he thought i was his wife (i'm his daughter, and i look like my mom)......broke my heart. what a beautiful song, and it definitely came through that this song is close to your heart......
Jason you are amazing! The state of to days Country music shows it would be complete shit without folks like you. This is a horrible thing to hit someone you love. May God's hand be on you.
This song hits close to home my grandmother battle Alzheimer's the last couple years of her life. There were times she remembered who I was and times that she didn't. My son came to visit one day and she started crying the day she saw him like it has been a very long time since she had seen him. I saw you twice 9 months apart from each other. The first one in Mason City Iowa the second one nine months later in Clear Lake Iowa at the legendary Surf Ballroom. My great-aunt Cheryl went to see you that time. The best memories I have with her. Sadly she passed away a few months ago. But it's one memory that I will always hold onto thanks to you
Years ago, my sister remarked how wonderful it was that "Miss Diane" helped to raise, teach, love and care for my child while I taught music at Mt. Energy Elementary. What a gift! What a blessing! She did so with such love, that the children she watched over became a part of the family. Diane and "Papa Tom" have opened their home, their hearts, and have ministered to and shared so much with so many people in our Southern Granville community over the decades. Love to you all! Thank you for this beautiful song and video, Jason, and for bringing awareness of this disease that impacts families around the world.
Devil Dog, I’m sorry your family is going through that nightmare. It hit me right in the feels seeing Wendy and the family in the video. Heartfelt message in a song.
This is such a beautiful song and awesome video. Personally knowing this family makes it even more sweet and touching. Alzimerz is such a horrible disease more awareness needs to be out there and this song is most certainly helping. I pray one day that this disease is eradicated and no one else is effected by it. Thank you Jason for being a voice for those who can't....
I love, love this song Jason. 💙💙🙏 Thank you so much... As someone who has had family with this heartbreaking disease...this means so much. Brought me to tears but I love the song so, so much...and I've loved you for years and years! 💙💙 Thank you for what you do for me and will never even know 🙏😍🙏
Hey guys....hey Diane! I know this is so hard...please know we keep you in prayer...hug her for me...and Tom too! Take care...come by when you can...much live to all....
