Raw nerve. My hi school teacher lost my grandmother's collection I included in my report. This reminded me that I had forgiven her. Sure do miss my grandma.

Evil always wants forgiveness, but good always wants justice. Justice must be fair and just to be good. You should never punish more than a double for the harm done.

I had a Captain Maddox Civil War Union Soldier Doll and equipment. I'd gotten it for my birthday and this was the first day warm enough to play with it outdoors. My mom called me into the house to help her prepare lunch, so I took my doll and gear in with me, putting it on the top shelf of a tall cupboard. A younger sibling wanted to continue playing with it and climbed up and took it outside. She heard me calling them in for lunch a while later and buried it in the sand pile so I wouldn't see she'd taken it. Mom even moved the china cupboard to see if it had fallen behind, but we only found the gear, never the doll.
She was so afraid to tell me, and it wasn't until over 30 years later that I discovered what had happened to my doll. We figure the dogs must have dug it up and hauled it off. Most of my things were taken and lost by one or more of my seven younger siblings...
As a family, we'd been on a trip through the various Civil War sites the previous year...I was intrigued by the information...He was a Union officer...I was all for the cause of freeing the slaves and helping the underdog. Yeah, not spending up to $500.00 for a mint replacement, not even $35.00 for a well-worn one. But nice to see what my 12-year-old self was taken with back then. I still care about underdogs and their causes. Blessings!

I tried not to be an unjust teacher that would confiscate children’s things. Sometimes I had to take things away, but I returned them.

I would add a disclaimer in that it's those who *in principle* heed to Satan. Satan can only make proud declarations of ownership but the One who formed us in the womb and is our Divine Creator is Jesus Christ.
This is fundamentally the difference between the accuser of the brethren and Jesus Christ; he can make seemingly authoritative claims but the claims themselves can only have so much bearing upon reality so long as we believe them-not so much that they actually have true bearing on reality.
Weird synchronicity just now. Listening to the show and saying ... "isn't it pronounced St. Titus (tye-tus)"? While simultaneously downloading ebooks about electromagnetics by a notable author. And - low and behold - this fellow wrote a book about Philippians and Titus: A Pentacostal View among his college electronics textbooks. Bizarre. Sometimes I think I inhabit a solipsistic/phenomenological universe.

Just a thought on not coddling a baby. Perhaps what they might grow to do is create a problem or a drama to get attention when all they wanted was a hug for an unseen hurt. Emotional or physical.
I watch Shawn on 3abn almost every night he walks across the stage in his socks (he doesn't wear shoes) he is a preacher for a hour does he speak well YES he is worth watching 😂
Hello book club friends. Somebody said something very stupid about books recently (I think it was that guy on Hope Channel). Not enough time to read he says? I read in order to be immortal! Time literally slows down when you read fast enough, ala Einstein's relativity.
Shawn what do you think of the fact that none of us asked to be born into this fallen world let alone this fallen race? Was that fair of God?
Its not God's fault that this world has fallen blame Satan as he is the one who weakend the nations as God created a perfect world
