that random character slow sliding into the shot when you were talking to Uniegost got me cracking up. Thanks for posting - the game looks really fun to play!
I never play these kinds of games (world-building ones) but this seems so fun. Only thing missing imo is the character customization system. I want to play as a girl and get me a blacksmith husband 😂😂
That is an interesting point about character customization. I know it has been discussed by many players and I think the idea is that it is both a world building game and a story driven game where the story is about Racimir. My opinion is that having an option for a female main character would round the game out nicely :)
This game is SO MUCH FUN. I recommend playing this one. I got a week and a half ago maybe 2 and havnt stopped playing. I’m completely addicted to this game. I’d go as far as saying I have a problem🤣🤣🤣🤣
My dad and I both play this game and he had the same complaint. He was outraged that there was no option to play as a woman, and said it was ridiculous. He started talking a lot about how, especially during war times (the crusades were his specific example) women outnumbered men greatly in these kinds of small villages, so he felt that it wouldn’t be historically inaccurate for the PC to be a woman. Lmao, as a woman myself I’m used to some of my favorite games not having an option to play as someone like me, so i didn’t think much of it, but after that conversation I really wish I could start out as a woman. Logistically it might be an issue with childcare, considering how the game handles that, but i’m sure they could have worked it out
When I start watching a playthrough I usually head to the channel and see if it is a long series. HOLY SMOKES I was so excited to see so many episodes! Just started playing this as well so excited to watch and learn a few things!
Excellent! I do hope you enjoy the series and that your run of Medieval Dynasty is going well :) If you think my Medieval Dynasty playlist is long, you should check out my Season 5 of Subsistence playlist, it is somewhere north of 510 ;)
Heya! I've been looking all over for a good Medieval Dynasty playthrough when I stumbled upon this series. I just wanted to say you seem like such a kind and humble person, and the way you play this game seems like you are having so much fun just being yourself. I don't normally comment on videos, but I felt you needed to know. I am super excited to keep watching!
Thank you! I certainly hope you enjoy the series as much as I've had making it :) If it helps, I have a playlist that should make it a bit easier: ruclips.net/p/PLxBP4SL7zdxql1tmLtbn5O86hCn6fLD73

This is my first video of yours that I've watched after starting playing this game myself, already enjoying your content so will definitely keep watching - 18:46 also, this guy creeping in killed me 😂
Nice to see you play Medieval Dynasty. I started playing Medieval Dynasty after KCD too and love the game. I chose the same spot as you as my building spot and I'm now on year 15 with a population of 117 people (73 workers + mothers and children). I have 7 day seasons and 200% building limit, so slighty different setings than you. I'm looking forward to seeing your settlement grow and compare it with mine :)
I was thinking of adjusting the number of days per season for this run but figured I would see what the default was like in the actual release version. It was ok in early access but you never know :)
Yup I somehow had never heard of KCD until recently when they started talking about KCD 2 so I played that and then Manor Lords and now this, this game is 100% like a KCD DLC 😂 I started in this spot but just finished moving to that lack south of Danica I spent the whole year 2 building up that area and just need to tear down my last few buildings
I set my Seasons to 30 Days. The game automatically allows you to advance Seasons anytime after 3 days anyway. So you can take your time during Spring & Summer , building up resources , then progress normally through Fall & Winter. (Spring usually takes me 7 to 10 days , then I advance to Summer etc..) Regards. _
That sounds like a great strategy, definitely something I would do in a private game now that I know you can advance to the next season! That is cool :)
Great to see this series start. Love Kingdome Come but there is just something special about this game. I built on the north shore of the central lake, which is an awesome area, but perhaps a bit far south relative to a majority of the towns.
I think it is so funny how easily distracted you can be. I know it might annoy some but it is so funny to me. “I should be going to see Unigost, oh look a daisy!!!” Hahahah keep up the good work!

I’ve been looking for another game to alternate with Subsistence. I think this may be it. I’m watching to see if it has all the things I love…..looting, farming, building. Thanks Ohno. I love how you explain!
I think you can make your town spread out over the entire map. That's what I did, and I don't seem to be paying any penalty for doing it. I've got warehouses on every corner of the map. Houses on ever corner of the map. Farms being farmed in the central area where you build here, and also mining huts with houses down in the mountains.
Hey Ohno! I downloaded this to give it a try, I think about a month ago. I couldn't even figure out how to craft an axe/hammer to cut wood so I uninstalled it, lol. I'm really interested in this game, looking forward to watching your fresh start. Maybe I'll revisit the game later. Thanks for your time and video.
Hi Heather! You should give it another shot, it's a great game :) The key to crafting in your pocket is the 'q' key to bring up the crafting wheel. From there you can make all kinds of things :) The axe only requires sticks and rocks which you can pick up. From there harvest logs to make other items...
@@OhnoCoho I might give it a try again. I think I did try to use the crafting wheel, who knows what I was doing wrong. It was free to play through Xbox Ultimate Game Pass on PC so I didn't loose money or anything. I got through 3 of your episodes yesterday. Will continue watching today, just getting caught up. Have a great day!
I opted for a more secluded area near a lake to build my town instead of out in the open randomly on the side of the road . I was worried about the bandits coming out and destroying my house 😅
Its not applicable now, but when you upgrade a build to its next tier (eg. Food storage 1 upgrade to food storage 2) the upgraded building will snap to the foundation of the old building. This will destroy the walls & roof, then just need to rebuild them.
they changed the story line. in the original version, Iordan was killed by bandits, but not before he took two of them out and only partial of his remains were found due to being scattered and eaten by wild animals
That's a tough one... Keep in mind that a new map is in the works for the coop feature. Not sure what that will look like or when it will happen though :)
Honestly, it's a very forgiving game and let's you play how you want. That said... Get into flax farming as early as possible, it is a great source of income. You sell the flax seeds and convert the stalks into linen thread. I go with 3x5 fields because they are more manageable. There is also a mechanic where a single NPC can only do one type of job on field at a time. What that means is that if you have a huge field then only one NPC can hoe at a time. Multiple NPCs can work a field but each can only do one task. I have a planting schedule image on my Community page that should help a bit too :) www.youtube.com/@OhnoCoho/community Most of all, just have fun!
Yeah, I agree, early game is definitely more of a grind for basic materials. Eventually you have NPCs that do it for you but it takes a while to get there. Even then, at that point the big task is managing resources gathered/produced by your people :) Still fun though :)
Games like this are always hard for me to get into see in kinda weird guy I get bored quick of games there are only a handful that I really really enjoyed winch as elden ring, gta 5, red dead two, cod every now and again but like games like this always interest me and I just have a hard time getting drawn in and it’s honestly so hard finding games I like for a long time and I just feel this game might overwhelm me in a very fast amount of time like I got star field thinking it would be a blast and I got over it in like half an hour if anybody has any game st all that you think is truly truly worth it I’d like sum recommendations cuz I just don’t seem to find em very often
Honestly, it's been kind of a bad time for games that I enjoy as well. I'm lucky in that I enjoy what I currently have but finding new ones has been a challenge.
Hello! I'm only seeing this now, hopefully you have found the answer but... just in case: Crafting items in your own inventory is done from the crafting wheel. Hold down 'Q' to show the wheel and then navigate to where you want. If I remember correctly the hammer is in the lower left category... something like tools and/or weapons? Not sure how it is described. Good luck!

I opted for a more secluded area near a lake to build my town instead of out in the open randomly on the side of the road . I was worried about the bandits coming out and destroying my house 😅
Safety first! ;)
I put my new village north of Ravenica at the fork in the river. It’s nice and close to multiple places
Do you mean Baranica or Branica? If so I remember building a mining outpost there :)
Let go my favorite series out of all
Very cool :)
Very good video man!!
Thank you!
I love this game "Medieval Dynasty "
It is a great game, I quite agree :)
I think it’s still a thing, if you strafe while walking over encumbered then you walk slightly faster. So press W and A or D and go in a diagonal.
You know, I tried that and I could never get used to it :)
I definitely want to try this game.
It really is quite good :)
Its not applicable now, but when you upgrade a build to its next tier (eg. Food storage 1 upgrade to food storage 2) the upgraded building will snap to the foundation of the old building. This will destroy the walls & roof, then just need to rebuild them.
Ohh.... that is good! I used to have to figure out where to put the new tier buildings and destroy the old one. I like it :)
they changed the story line. in the original version, Iordan was killed by bandits, but not before he took two of them out and only partial of his remains were found due to being scattered and eaten by wild animals
Yeah, I like the new, updated story line better. It is definitely more complex :)
Love this 🐺❤❤❤
Awesome!
Plan on watching all 200 videos.
I do hope you enjoy them!
Bloody hell I'm puking of laughter at 18:50
;)
@19:00
Best creepy photo bomb ever!!
LOL! This happens more than once in the series ;)
I would not have been surprised if the guy who interrupted you and Uniegost had said, "Give me your clothes, your boots, and your motorcycle."
LOL! He did have a bit of intensity to him didn't he?
The main quest story does NOT pause time. You can burn a lot of day light talking to people while doing it.
I hear ya... I will probably be a bit more efficient in the future :)
I just got the game and looking for a series to watch and learn so I’m hoping this will teach me some things
I do hope you enjoy the series :)
I’m trying to decide if I should start over the map is so small I feel like I should
That's a tough one...
Keep in mind that a new map is in the works for the coop feature. Not sure what that will look like or when it will happen though :)
@@OhnoCoho I’m very new like last week new so i haven’t unlocked a bunch I don’t think it’ll hurt me. Any tips ?
Honestly, it's a very forgiving game and let's you play how you want.
That said...
Get into flax farming as early as possible, it is a great source of income. You sell the flax seeds and convert the stalks into linen thread.
I go with 3x5 fields because they are more manageable. There is also a mechanic where a single NPC can only do one type of job on field at a time. What that means is that if you have a huge field then only one NPC can hoe at a time. Multiple NPCs can work a field but each can only do one task.
I have a planting schedule image on my Community page that should help a bit too :)

Most of all, just have fun!
I need to play this gaammmee
I believe it is coming out on console at some point if you don't have a PC :)
Good luck me for watching next 149 episodes 😂
Have fun! :)
Saw there is mining in this game so imma check this out too
It's a good game :)
lovely man
Hope you enjoy the series :)
The game is fun whenever you get into it, but it is kinda annoying with getting stones and Logs because they give you very few materials
Yeah, I agree, early game is definitely more of a grind for basic materials. Eventually you have NPCs that do it for you but it takes a while to get there. Even then, at that point the big task is managing resources gathered/produced by your people :)
Still fun though :)
How good to hear from you again Ohno and with this wonderful game that is Medieval Dynasty
Thank you Mariano!
Ohno check along the river banks and each end of bridges
Okey dokey :)
Why’s Uniegost look like he was face scanned by Brando from the Godfather.
Huh, I suppose it is fairly similar :)
We all know Unigost is a snake. I doubt they changed the story line that much.
Oh they did! They really really did! :)
Changed it that much did they Badger?!? Oohhh... I like that :)
so happy ..like the game :)
Awesome! :)
You can reduce or remove the need for stamina in the options before starting a new game. I found it makes the game more enjoyable to remove it.
Indeed, I tend to stick to defaults for a series though. I would probably do that for a private game though :)
Great video but I got.to.ask do you have hdhd 😆 🤣
LOL! No, I just like to keep things moving :)
Why did I know you would go here from KCD? Maybe cause I did the same thing, then go back to KCD and then back here :D
Oh, I was planning on it for a while. Ever since Medieval Dynasty did their 1.0 release I wanted to give it another run :)
Nice start but i added more days tho makes the game more fun :-)
I hear ya... It was tempting but I figured I would do the defaults for the series :)
I would probably do that for a private game though...
@@OhnoCoho Nice i got my 1 set to 30 days and stone knifes are nice cash made 20k in the first mouth :-)
I figure I will have to re-learn what works as a money maker. Stone knives huh? Good to know :)
lol i use most all of the customizations lol its fun but if i was doing a series id do defaults too i love not having carry limits lol
Yep, that is exactly my line of thinking. I don't mind customization but for a series I like to do things the default way :)
I can't even figure how to make a Hammer....how does crafting work..i have spent 4 hours and have been stuck to find crafting !!!! Help ???
Hello! I'm only seeing this now, hopefully you have found the answer but... just in case:
Crafting items in your own inventory is done from the crafting wheel. Hold down 'Q' to show the wheel and then navigate to where you want. If I remember correctly the hammer is in the lower left category... something like tools and/or weapons? Not sure how it is described.
Good luck!
@@OhnoCoho thank you...i did look at some other beginning videos..someone said press Q. But thank u for answering.
You're welcome :)
Just started playing this on XSX and liking it but choose different area to build
Nice! Have fun :)
