best part of fall are the leaf piles hahaha ... very nice they did put them into the game. Childhood memories. I like your medieval journey very much. Thank you
I must say I enjoy your gaming attitude, you try hard but don’t get in a stew if you make a bad choice, and laugh when it goes wrong! I love my gaming but always remember that it is meant to be fun! You make gaming fun to watch! 😄 Many thanks for the planting chart, I screenshot it 😊
Moose are scary... came face to face with a lady moose once, while teaching cross country skiing to a bunch of kids... you know those beasties are huge rationally, but seeing it in person...
Darn it Ohno....I can't seem to finish a video of yours cuz you keep making me want to play the game...sign of a good let's play. Keep up the great content :)
Man i love this game and now we are getting into the meat of it. I think you did pick up some seeds already, wheat in particular, from a high speed cart wreck on the road. : )
Was it wheat seeds or the full wheat on stalks. If it was the full wheat then I'll need a barn so I can thresh it to get the seeds. Hmm.... Thank you Tim!
18:32 yep... Take it easy on those leaf piles :DDD And don't worry, you will soon advance to the point when you'll be able to get yourself a horse - Pebbles!!! When you were talking about moose in Canada and how they end up on the road I remembered a funny thing that happened a week ago. I was driving home from work and on the way they were building new houses. Some of them already had windows and doors. Somehow a stray goat ended up at one of these houses, saw her own reflection in the window and well... she was banging her head against it. I guess she didn't like what she saw??? DDD Thank you for the chart - I need it badly.
The boreal forest is a climat area that streches over both continents: Northamerica and Eurasia. The genus of the animals is very similar. Erasia has no skunks and chipmunks, but bears, wolves, moose, reindeers - and much more. The iceage landbridge wasn't used by people only ;-)
I know I'm coming to this stream late in the piece, because I only just bought the game on special! But, inspired by your story about Moose in Canada, I just wanted to tell you something about where I come from, which is Australia. It's a bit grizzly, but adult Kangaroo's here are right in that weight/size spot that if you accidentally hit them with a car, they don't die straight away, and are of a mass that is enough to crash through your windscreen. Modern cars with their low bonnets and often wedge shape, means that particularly in rural areas, if you collide with one they come up over the bonnet (hood) and through the windscreen. Then you're in all kinds of trouble. A kangaroo isn't small and its in the cabin with you, and its pissed. Most likely, only an Aussie would understand what a pissed off kangaroo in the car with you would be like. There are many instances of folk receiving serious injury and death from such incidents, never mind the poor kangaroo. Just thought I'd mention it as passing trivia! Meantime, this stream of Medieval Dynasty is perfect thanks to your talents as a narrator and your ability to engage your watchers. I am now a subscriber. Thanks for your enjoyable playthrough.
LOL! That gives new meaning to "uninvited passenger" ;) It would be terrifying indeed! You are very welcome and I hope you continue to enjoy the series :)

@@OhnoCoho I missed it live but watched it earlier today 😃 *I find it's better to be bzy than bored and broke😉😁 I took forward to you being less bzy and getting back into Raft 😃
When farming you can just hold LMB and you then repeat the hoe, seed or sickle/scythe motion without having to re-click for each farm plot. Thought I'd mention it as getting the right moment when hoeing used to get me too.
There are also very endangered Iberian Lynx along with the Eurasian species. And their Red deer and genetically closely related to our Elk as well. The moose are in Russia and Scandinavia, at the more northern latitudes than here. We have a small (reintroduced) moose population here in CO as well.
We have moose in Europe. In Finland, where I live, it's quite common that they end up on the road and you need to be careful when driving in rural areas.
Very interesting! I once heard that Newfoundland has somewhere in the region of 500+ moose collisions with cars in a year. The thing is, Newfoundland also has only about 500,000 people living there :)
i found a ton of little deer trinkets behind sanbors house while i was getting his clay...they dont sell for anything so i do not have a clue what they are for, and even though i saw that pile of leaves in your game at his house and in gustovia there were none in my game, weird.....
hiya @jeanie B They are for a quest that Sambor will give you. There wasn't a trigger to start the quest, I had just happened to go up there and talked to him and he gave it to me :)
Once you pick one up, you can then ask Sambor about them and they trigger a quest. *Complete* waste of time, those figurines and the subsequent, rather long quest that has you running from one side of the map to the other, multiple times. They have zero value, and you can't sell them ..... ever!
If you make the right choices in that quest, Sambor will become a vendor and unlock the ability to sell you several different types of animal figurines. You can technically sell them, but since you have to buy them first it's not worthwhile to do so. The figurines are best used for decoration.
Before you can make potions, you need a workshop so you can make the wooden vials to hold them. An iron shovel will last you a hella long time. Next time your visiting a vendor, sell the bronze and wooden ones...you won't need them anymore. When you eventually get around to building a smithy, remember what I said about mining. Get yourself 4 or 5 picks, take a day, and do the whole mine. Btw, you can't get lost in them...just head in one direction, they loop around on themselves.
Ah, good to know about the wooden vials... I was thinking I might like a workshop before some of the other more exotic buildings :) Very cool! Thanks for the tip on the shovel! Much appreciated:) And when I do the mining trip... do it on the last day of the season so I can teleport magically back with my coppery loot ;) Thank you Badger!
@@OhnoCoho You could do that....but remember your remote mining couple from last season? I got that going fairly early on so had a resource storage at the mine right from the start.
Told you that was a boar spawn area :D LOL oh no there is 3 :D. Try having them chase you back to your barn in the middle of the night. I was not sure they would still be there after the release of the full game.

150 coins in the rock pile. Oh yes, moose are no joke. Their legs are 6 feet high. My brother-in-law's brother hit one and it literally ended up crushing the roof of the car. He was messed up pretty good.
Yep, that is what happened to the person I was talking about... the moose panicked and ran right over her car. It completely crushed the roof and she was injured quite badly. Thank you Mojo!
Moose are extremely common in Europe. So is lynx in certain areas. Not every country got them but we do have them all the way up to the nordic countries as well.
If the moose in this game are like the ones in Subsistence, then you have your hands full taking them on. No lever action and double barrel here lol 😅 Can you imagine drinking from an old leather waterskin 🤢 Great video OC!
Ohno, what did I tell about those leaves? (Looks around, whispers) I know a guy...... he can get you some really good leaves, you just have to do a little job for him, wink wink. Nothing much just run through the forest, kill a few dangerous wild animals and then run back. It's a cinch, what could go wrong?!
My ripple trick worked because I would walk into a deeper area. When I hit the ripple I could right back around and would be clean by the time I hit the shore I believe. Either that over I went deeper to hit the ripple. Or they changed the mech. I was also walking in by Gostovia, or across from the creek that leads up to the mine by Branica. It should have worked not left you at 14%. Sorry
Is there now a skill for planting herbs or an option like a greenhouse? Cause you would think that if they are making potions they would grow their own herbs.
Nicely done, Ohno! Try to practice more with the bow, because soon you're gonna be competing with Alwin... and although he sucks now, he's gonna get awfully good. Greetings from Mexico!
Yep! I'm looking forward to the archery contest with Alwin. No worries, I do remember that quest and how sulky he gets when you beat him ;) Greetings from Canada!
