One of Chopin's saddest pieces, he even wanted it to be played at his own funeral. ♫ Sheet Music (Chopin - Prelude, Op. 28, No. 4): tinyurl.com/4769sf4p * * Affiliate Link
Chopin always struggled with health issues, he was never married, no children, unappreciated... he died on his 30s... This is why most of Chopin pieces are sad, nostalgic. He deserved better
Not to mention working in cold conditions, mostly poor and malnourished. His art was his obsession with writing these works and no doubt did not take care of himself. He was quite literally creating wealth he would never enjoy. Hopefully God was merciful and have placed him in a beautiful place to create more works of musical bliss.
The hard part about this one is timing the emotion correctly Its all about the emotion with this one and allowing the right hand to clear the melody as a highlight with the chords of the left hand acting as background Difficult to master this one. Chopin is just so good
I don't know why bit since i first heard this song i fell in love with it. The composion really touches my heart and soul and gives me so many emotions... And that's why it's my dream to be able to play this perfectly
Well if he loved this song that much and played piano and was decent at it he would be able to play this song so i'm assuming he doesn't know how to play piano or maybe he knows the song but he just hasn't perfected it yet. Who knows
@@troll707 i am sadly not able to play it... i tried learning it a few tines and got as far as being able to play half of it pretty good, but then i didn't play on my keyboard for a while and now have to learn it all over. obviously it will be easier than the first time but yeah... i just don't practise enough and that's on me. (oh and btw: i'm a she)
@@nake Ah well it's very easy to learn. You will be frustrated at first but once you create a muscle memory for it it's easy. Perfecting it takes lots of practice but very manageable
This piece reminds me Waking up on a rainy morning, after a fight with your best friend, putting on your slippers, and sitting on the porch with a cup of unsweetened coffee while watching the rain.
This is not being presented as a beautiful piece of music for the ear, it is a learning aid, and as such I think it is brilliant, especially since one can now slow the RUclips replay. Once I know how to play it I can use my own timing and emotion and even jazz it up!
finally a version that actually plays the turn on the right hand correctly some pianists forget u have to wait a bit. Although you could say those pianists are doing it for expression
Yup, it's missing emotion since it's a robot playing it. This is why PianoREADER is so much better imo since he puts actual performances in his videos (most of the time).
Yay a Chopin piece i can actually learn to play and dont need 3 years for it. Alright now im gonna learn this and play this slower and with emotion...LETS GO BOYS!
When you find out that the sheet music you used to learn the song is completely off. Well I'm gonna go shoot myself now. Edit: Correction, it was own ignorance of reading sheet music. All is well.
if you are planning to play this beautiful piece I suggest you remember to put a pulse on the first chord of each bar, it changes the piece entirely, happy playing :)
I believe there was a TED talk on this (something like "the transformative power of classical music") and he argues there should be one pulse from the b to the e which I agree with as it feels like one phrase to get to the perfect cadence. I also think this is why it is played faster than people might feel like it should be :)
The Roast Lord had a look in his eyes, knowing that once he started roasting, he could never return to his life as a human. He had to live among Rankenfiles, Chimpillas, and Peace Lords, constantly in a state of war.
Выглядит очень легко но запомнить каждый акорд сложно очень их тут много и левая рука тоже меняется со временем на вид легко на деле сложно и нужны годы что бы это выучить вы молодец что смогли сыграть такое

Your right so i recommend for you to listen to "Chopin ballade No1" especoally the coda at the last minutes of it trust me u will be addicted to it
@@rogueystew His wife died. Half of his kids died. How did bach have such a happy life? Have you heard BWV 582? Is that happy to you?

The only happy one o heard was “Grande Valse Brilliante”. What a fine piece!
Far away from home
Yes! A Chopin piece I can actually play!
Stephanie Johnson same thing I said lmao
Hahaha I can relate to this
Stephanie Johnson nocturne in c minor is pretty easy too
Well the cadenza isn't beginner stuff. Not hard by any means, but..
I find Nocturne in E minor pretty easy as well, it isn't too bad for people with lazy left hands is what I'm saying.
The hard part about this one is timing the emotion correctly

Difficult to master this one. Chopin is just so good
agree with this.
The hard part for me is the triplet over the two eighths notes!
It seems easy to play, But to put all emotions in this is much harder
Julia Meier yes. it is a very transparent piece. no sounds to hide behind so to speak.
Julia Meier it seems easy. But there's two tempos at once it's tricky to get it right
It takes you 2 hours to learn the whole piece, but a lot of effort to put in the emotions
Easy to learn, hard to master
Chopin is my one and only love. I could play his pieces all day everyday
more like 0.75x speed
Sometimes even 0.5x speed
I'd say 0.6 if possible.
DexterLoL I think 0.50 speed is better
I think 0.625 849 is correct :D
There's a term for it. Its called 'rubato'

I actually see that
Sorry to be the guy that ruins it, but it's way too fast.
I agree scientific_who this IS way too fast. The tempo on this is Largo.
scientific_who You're not ruining anything.
yep agreed.
It's called preference
Classy_Productions Well if he was trying to play Choplin’s piece and not an arrangement he made then this is too fast as it is supposed to be largo

every time I play this piece I literally just start crying
Slowly descending down a constant downwards spiral. Absolutely magnificent.
I could weep, weep to this beautiful, sad and melancholy piece
❤🙏
favorite chopin peice to listen to. The chords are just so flowing its like a debussy feel!

This sounds like a crime because its the piece simpleness that makes it beatifull...
Man harmonically it is brilliant wdym it is so beautiful
❤🙏
Слов нет.... Только музыка......
👍👍👍👏👏👏

Such a beautifully simple Chopin piece
God ; Even though the notes are least than any usual Chopin piece but the soul of the piece is more stronger.
That’s one of those pieces that are so beautiful
Love this and was my first Chopin comp I could play.
its to fast
This is perfectly fast...
It's just missing the emotion of an actual person playing it. It's really the only way to play it.
Yup, it's missing emotion since it's a robot playing it.

Younes Boujibar too
play it at 0.75 speed
Thank you so much for putting this video. I really appreciate it.

Wait, i searched the meme "E", how did i finish here?
Sit down then, close your eyes and enjoy =3
The E Meme Ended here
"E" minor
The most fun moment was from 1:04 to 1:04 and some miliseconds...
beautiful
just beautiful
Simple but profound!
What a coincidence! Earlier today I found out that my aunt has also just like me been playing this piece. and it gets reuploaded lol.
You never fail to amaze me with these. Good job, Bud!
i love this song
Finally a chopin piece that is easy
Playing at 0.5 speed.
"Stephen Curry my ass"
The 0.5 speed is how it should be played anyway.
Get that weak shit outta here boi
0.75 On RUclips Speed
Toprak Koç
I don't think it was meant to be 4 minutes long though lmao
easy to play and lovely song
0.75x is the perfect speed
How beautiful
The tempo is quite faster than it's supposed to be, and you can't feel the emotions in it anymore
beautiful
this song make me cry..
❤🙏
finally a chopin piece that i can play :P

This is a perfect musical encapsulation of the finality of life.
Holy shit.

Simplesmente, perfeito!!
when everyone says: 'omg a chopin song i can actually play' but it's still a struggle for me ;(
As always, my friend, great work! I can't wait to collaborate with you sometime :)
love this
My favourite❤ im learning to play it
Am I the only one who thinks the music is way too fast and whiteout the sad emotion the music gives?
I know I love this piece
my piano teacher just assigned me this piece, and I’ve been taking classes for three weeks (once a week). I’m gonna die before I learn this ahaha
Sight reading this is light work
Dear Friends! I learnt it by pausing it and slowing down the speed in the settings to 0.25. It took 10 days to learn.. :) You can also try.. :)
❤🙏
Wrong. This is op 28 no 4 not 15. Please correct moite.
no dai davvero?
Great piece! I'm learning it right now, I'm at bar 16! I would say thought that this is too fast as its meant to be crotchet = 50...
Daniel Strathdee did u finish learning it?
You put the song too fast
The original is more slowly
I can't believe I forgot how to play this.
-Shut up
*Music starts*
*Thunder sound*
*flashback* "Stephen curry mah ass"
-how could you.
*Drops dead*
Ohhh yeah.... I heard it from the movie notebook

So I was told to also learn some easy sings for my repertoire so I'll choose this
The Roast Lord had a look in his eyes, knowing that once he started roasting, he could never return to his life as a human. He had to live among Rankenfiles, Chimpillas, and Peace Lords, constantly in a state of war.
good shit man
For anyone playing on 61 key keyboard, if your keyboard has a transpose function then this piece will fit in!
More classics please :)
his preludes are mostly easy, great beginner songs!
It’s very good, but the time 00:51 - 00-52 you played it really fast. I played this music 3 years ago (in 4-th) music class. But it’s almost perfect🤩
Красивая мелодия
Nicely done but I feel it should have been played slower to get more of the feel Chopin was trying to express when making this piece
play it at 1/3 of the speed, play with emotion, and it would be perfevt
1:06 man screw these two four note chords i cant play them
The End yea me too i am stuck on those that jump from B octave to that chord is tricky
STEPH CURRY MA ASS
~ Wheelz
can you explain this please. I don't get the joke
SebsBish1137 its from a video by papa franku (filthy frank)
Holy hell, completely forgot frank of the filth used this song a lot
Put it to 0.75 that's about the normal speed also ALUHAK BER
Ahh Chopin
Surprisingly dark
October 2018 anyone??
French music is beautiful
its not french wtf
Please, do "A Breathtaking Piano Piece" - Jervy Hou. It's amazing
I...I can't believe this. I-I don't need a third hand to play this.
Why do i imagine myself playing this at a funeral...
It was played at Chopin's funeral.
Выглядит очень легко но запомнить каждый акорд сложно очень их тут много и левая рука тоже меняется со временем на вид легко на деле сложно и нужны годы что бы это выучить вы молодец что смогли сыграть такое
tubular bells, balackbutleropening, cheakmate pls do those songs plllsss
Woah woah woah woah slooooooow down. This is one of Chopin's slower pieces. Definitely shouldn't take a minute and forty seven seconds to get through
This is also what is used in the video game “Five Nights at Candys 1” as the ambience music box.
finally, someone who knows the same thing.
I just subscribed!!
I believe you will have more subscribers if you use a camera and play the piano(like Theister).
Really good!! Whats name is the MIDI software that's running?
I'm going to learn this I hope to get it done in 1h -- -- -- 6:17
I had this looped for 30 mins and now I'm suicidal.
So hard ahhhh
*YEEEEAA E MINOR !!!!*
Is it odd that I use your videos to practice my own piano :P
No it isn't I do the same don't worry😉
Awesome lol
Yes it is and you'll never get good.
You're fun at party's
+Sly yeah, ignore this douche
This isn’t in E minor though because E minor doesn’t use D#/E-flat.
Woah there friend you might need to slow down
