I like that Taylor is taking time to praise the writers! Obviously, she comes from the stand-up scene, where you have to write and polish most of your material by yourself, but in a context like this one, having a group of nice and talented people around you to help definitely makes your job easier and more fun. Nobody really improves on their own...
She is taking a page from two other comedy writers turned late night hosts, both Conan and Seth praise their writers when it's good, and mercilessly bust their balls when it fails, but not out of malice, out of whelp we tried it and it did NOT go the way we all thought. Which I really respect. She is awesome and I hope she stays in this role as long as she wants it. The chaos this show brings helps to fill the gap Craig left .

@@pierfrancescocosta6336 oh dude. Watch his show on youtube, especially after getting Geoff Peterson. It really was off the rails. He never used prepared questions for his guests, it was more improv than anything. The best were when he had good friends on, they would riff. Betty White played bat shit crazy every time she made an appearance, Ewin McGregor appearances had the best sketches, but from dancing horses to harmonica solos, to made up show band to the Queen calling it was a crazy show. It was like someone gave him a show, and then forgot he was on. Well worth checking it out. I suggest maybe whetting your tongue first on watching his Robin Williams interviews.

I am 1 1/2 years into playing my first D&D campaign. I love it! The movie was great!I'm a newbie, but I've done some research and can absolutely appreciate why it's gotten so big. From the beginning to now, how can you get bored with all of the options available?

@nikandthepartz so someone explained to me that it's supposed to kind of imply that all white guys are more or less the same guy and can be pretty easily swapped for eachother... but like, I don't think they used the "I dunno, another vague white guy with a guitar" sort of approach.

is it my imagination or is this show HEAVILY scripted to the point even the guests are in on it. Thank god its entertaining because I thought months ago when i discovered it that it was similar to "whos line is it anyway" which clearly was NOT scripted. this doesn't seem to hit the same. the eye lines and bits seem a bit too rehearsed
Sorry to be the one to have to tell you this, but it's mostly scripted with some room for improv, just like the original. 🥲
