    The pulse hold method is pretty genius. Istruggle recording long multi bar phrases

      But how do you punch in rest with the pulse hold method

      Thanks for the question--I learned something totally new from it :)
      In the past I would have suggested adding blank steps with pulse holds for rest.
      But today I also learned that, if the sustain is at 0 (parameter 3 page 2), you can adjust the decay and release to stop the note from being held for the entire count. That's probably the method I'd recommend, and I'll make a video on it soon because I had never thought of it before!
