Under the direction of Adam Shankman, the hit Broadway musical "Rock of Ages" comes to the big screen, starring Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman, Mary J. Blige, with Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise as Stacee Jaxx. The film tells the story of small town girl Sherrie and city boy Drew, who meet on the Sunset Strip while pursuing their Hollywood dreams. Their rock 'n' roll romance is told through the heart-pounding hits of Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Whitesnake, and more.
I can't believe this movie passed under my radar until now 2020 seeing it for the first time, Diego Boneta you go Diego go!! So awesome, and Tom Cruise WHOA dude you can act there's no doubt there but dude you can SING!!!! I was totally blown away!! Loved the playlist would have loved some Motley too that would have been the cherry on the cake! This afterparty, Jeez what the heck, these people OMG you have rock gods in front playing their heart out and there's like no emotion from the crowd I'd be going crazy, singing, jumping, dancing, flashing, sheesh!! Take an example from the movie at least of what a crowd of Rock n Roll should look like!
This is a fun movie, highly underrated!! Looked like they had a blast as the premiere!
this takes me back. Def Leppard in a small concert think no more than 6-700ppl, no lasers, just a acustick concerts. then month later they where back again, this time the full tour... somehow the small concert is still the best i ever attended

yes, they did not had their best sounding night...but that was 30 years ago. they were celebrating a time period that simply had to be lived (and survived) to be understood. the 80's still rock!!!
The fact that Mexican Actor Diego Boneta aka Diego Gonzalez was featured in this film makes me so proud of how far he has come even though this film was in 2012 and to act besides Tom Cruise! Makes my Mexican heart happy! Great he had the opportunity to shine his voice and his talent. And Tom Cruise WE WANT AN ALBUM!! Jk
