Beautiful episode
Wow! That was Shintaro’s most menacing performance yet and the fight choreography was brilliant. Zatoichi is such a complex and wonderful character.
This storyline was special, Zato is the best oh ye...🙂🇬🇧

Katsu is a legend for his manner of eating rice balls.
Either princess, silk seller daughter, starving farmer daughter, or heartbroken girl when luck brought them to travel with Ichi in wild Japan, they were in good hands. They were fed, protected, and lifted out of their misfortunate situations. Because of her innocence, Omitsu seems to be the funniest but also the saddest one. The last scene gave Omitsu the chance to deliver her best acting. I'm sure she reached all of Ichin's fans' hearts! The night, the lighting set up, the crescending music, and her little ballade displaying her sorrow was cinematic.

got hooked watching and waiting for comedy antics of ichi which make it more interesting combining action,drama and comedy,a different way of using samurai of bursts of speed,i have to rewind a bit to see how ichi slash his wooden sword which make him differ from other samurai!,,

The villains in Zatoichi are like zombies. Even though Zatoichi kills them, you'll see the same actors come back to life & appear in other episodes (or films). 🤘
This is cinema. Of course the actors are acting. It is funny to see some come alive in a subsequent episode. Enjoy it. That is the way it is with all series, but especially films with Zatoichi. I have been a fan of Zatoichi since the early 1960's. Though Shintaro Katsu is no longer, the films were always entertaining.
There are probably not as many actors in all of Asia as Zatoichi killed in one season.
Without them, there would be no next episodes! :-)))
Scene 19.55 the sheer courage and therefore the stupidity of the poor stupid woman telling the poorer, stupider girl not to believe in someone whom you met a few days ago, when she herself has met this stupid girl only one day ago, is the best scene in the stupid episode!!

Why dont you watch again and try to comprehend the dialogues of the stupid and stupidier girl you might have missed something along the lines that made you failed to fully understand and turned you more stupid than the two lady characters..
