I started watching Zatoichi about two years ago....never have I seen anything like this. I'm hooked. It's the best show ever made in the history of TV I believe.

Zatoichi is the greatest television show ever.
I can relate to Ichi because nothing ever works out for the best or gets any better for him...even though he is honest and humble and helps those in need. In this episode he and Oshino and her son could have found some happiness and it's taken away from them. It was such a tragic waste of a gorgeous woman who was just trying to be a good mother. And yet it is another episode that is so human and done well in every way.
Such great story in this episode . So long time passed and and still touching people like me today . Thank you all for that !

Love the way they always set Zatoichi up for a noble massacre at the end.
I don't think I've ever seen ichi-san so overcome with anger as he was here. On a scale of 1 to 10, his outrage reached 11, and justifiably so.

As always, this Series really makes you think about Life! It is either living a Noble Life! She indeed led a Noble life! Zatoichi lost more than anyone man can bare. It leaves us with Hope; that the Son came, out like His Mother! This a remarkable Series!
