In this video we will introduce symmetry elements using the platinum(II)-tetrachloride and platinum(IV)-dibromo-tetrachloride dianions. Specifically, the identity, proper rotational axis, mirror planes, inversion center, and improper rotational axis will be introduced and developed.

Professor I believe there is an error with the methane example for s4. The b should be on the left a on right prior to reflwction about horizontal axis
