I just picked up the TPOB Candy clipper and Ghost X trimmer for doing my own hair and my 3 kids. I also snagged your multicolor guards to go with the Candy clipper! Works well for at home use, have cut each of our hair once so far with the setup and clipper still has over 50% battery so pretty happy with that for my purpose. I also have been using an equinox brand sheer since the start of covid lockdown and picked up a ULG brand thinning sheer this last year.
I want to take this time to give credit where it is deserved. Creating translucent guards, getting your own shop/headquarters, and the video content always on point. You aren't just giving a stranger a free motivational haircut, over and over . . . not stating that it isn't cool and all...but you being diverse in the Barbering World. Respect, Marty.

I've got those trimmers and they're awesome honestly you must have bought a duff pair.. even my boss who is a clippersnob bought the TPOBslime trimmers cos he tried mine and loved em.
You should do like a mystery box get a list of the basics and get a friend to pick the stuff and try to make it work
Must’ve been faulty trimmer I have a 2 tpob trimmers and they’re pretty powerful. Blades not the crispiest but great for debulking

Maybe the trimmer was a dud. I got that same one and it cuts smooth for a debulker/kids and senior cut
Advice to everyone starting out
Buy yellow white combs silver shears will make the hair stand out while cutting you go dark black you might cut too much
I will say this I bought the TPOB Troll blackout set for $165 after tax, which in my opinion is a way better clipper than the slime and ghost trimmer, very comparable to the lo pro fx, only downfall is it doesn’t come with the shaver, but I love the TPOB lineup it’s a very great company that gives you quality products all the way from beginner to professional without breaking the bank

Damn its too bad your trimmer didnt work.. I have the same but in green and out of the box they were great... after about a month I bought the BaByliss blade conversion kit for it for $20 and now its going on a year old and still cutting great.
