With fake clippers all you really need to do is switch out the blades. Some don't have as much power which is a problem.

I ordered a fake JRL 2020c via Temu. It's coming in a week orso. I'm going to change the blade on it and see how it performs. Word is that it's pretty good.
I have it and it’s pretty solid. Wahl blades aren’t compatible with it though, I swapped it and it made the clipper super loud since the plastic part that moves the blade doesn’t align properly with the Wahl blades. But the stock taper blade is decent
