Super excited to play it i love Fairy Tail and the 1st game. I am nervous about the combat change from turn based combat, less characters than the 1st game + no new characters (I really wanted my boi Cobra playable) and I’m not the biggest fan of the Alvarez arc but nonetheless, I’m happy Fairy Tail is finally getting some games! I hope Koei Tecmo keeps making them!!
@@Fureiji88 for sure not flopped. It even sold well. It may not have sold as well as other games, but it sold well enough to make a second game. Especially since the investment for the first game was much less than the second.
About the characters they will probly add some with the season pass there is one at the end of january and the other for march and april , probly new story and characters like they did with the first one.
I can't help but feel like they treated me like a fool. Literally, almost all of the characters that we're usable in the previous game aren't usable in this one. You only have a total of 10 playable characters, and they're all Fairy Tail guild members can't play as Sting, Rogue, Lyon, etc, and here i was holding out hope that Zeref, Acnologia, August, Irene etc would be playable what a fool i am i paid $200 for the ultimate edition for this. 😭😭😭
I enjoyed the first Fairy Tail enough to platinum it but I felt like it waa missing something, I also really didn't like how some characters just didn't have character models in the story.
Might not be for me but I appreciate the review as I was considering the game. Maybe I’ll buy it when it’s on discount since I think fairy tale is cool but not my preferred game system so I’ll wait for now. Good review though 🔥
Unless I straight up misinterpreted it, "Strategy" in the previous game amounted to choosing whichever technique hit the most enemies for at least 70% of encounters.
even if the game is "easy" it still RPGS in strategy. I will say Fairy Tail 2 is way harder than the first one and the game has hard and extreme difficulties on some bosses imo.
Fairy tail 1 has that weird bug for char that use dragon power visual doesnt show when you equip with costume, only work with original costume Hope they fixed that one.

In all honesty, you should have your opening OST demonstration at the start of the video. It is glorious. My full respect sir.

Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D is phenomenal. I’m deep into it right now and I’m not putting it down til I beat it! I agree my man! I’ll support FT2!
