Since I’ve been living near the A and C lines since I was born, theres a good chance I spent some time aboard an R32 whenever I took the subway. Today I still take the A and C trains and it just doesn’t feel the same. I really miss the front Railfan window on these trains too. I have so many memories of when I would look out of it and pretend I was driving the train. Those were great days…

They delivered the same way they end their service life. These are the last trains before me. I was born 5/16/1970. My favorite cars were the R38s; a model similar to these cars.
I know there was a pair there in 2009 when I last visited (3352-3353). Hopefully, a few more will be preserved. I wish they would restore them to their 1964 appearance (blue doors and that great 60s TA logo).
I saw the R32 layover at CSX Dewitt yard for 4 days and I took photos and videos on the last week of December 2022 and New Year's eve no rush to get to Ashtabula, Ohio I already put in youtube.

Cannot erase the old New York of the phone booth and these beautiful Subway cars. I cannot stand modern things because they are so fake. Why are they scrapping these model cars if they are so good, like the reporter mentioned?
It aggravates me to see these serviceable R-32 Budd cars being trashed. Knowing how the MTA loves to trash things, why did they bother to remove the trucks? Don't tell me they actually plan to use them for something else or for spare parts. That would be too sensible. I miss being able to watch WPIX Channel 11. And I miss watching Greg Mocker, which I did for many years. I miss the Channel 11 News at Ten, which I watched every night. The jerks at Comcast removed WPIX from our cable TV line-up down here in Southern New Jersey, for no reason and with no warning, about two years ago. They're good at raising prices and taking channels away. We get lots of useless shopping network channels that nobody watches and there are over a dozen religious channels. They even had the gall to remove Turner Classic Movies. No amount of pleading with Comcast does any good. Oh yes, you can get Turner Classic Movies if you pay for a sports package that's of no interest to me. As it is, I pay over $ 170 dollars a month for a bare-bones minimal line-up. Complaining to the N. J. Board of Public Utilities is totally useless. They told me that they've had dozens of complaints and there is nothing they can do. They actually suggested that I get a satellite dish....I kid you not !!
What needs to happen is get rid of the crusty old dirty trains they keep running on the 3 A & C lines those trains will still be in service 10yrs from now they’ll keep putting screws in the floor & patching the seats with bathroom sealant 🤷🏽♂️🤣

They are transported by barge. And when the R32 was built, it had high speed ceiling fans.

The A and the C line now sucks
The A and C is getting new trains and 8th Avenue is getting CBTC, to improve service on the A and C.

The R62s on the 3 are doing well, I ridden won a while ago and it was completely fine.
