He may look a bit goofy, but if you try to imagine that thing as a real decepticon in a movie... It's kinda terrifying. The weird proportions and crest definitely add some intimidation factor.
The way the back of the head extends outward reminds me of the Vahki from Bionicle. A little goofy in this "chibi" mode, but absolutely terrifying if it were in actual scale. The foot and head designs are the best parts of this model! Great job as always!
He definitely looks Alien like... Plus I'd love to make my own Lego Transformer but getting the Pieces and coming up with A Design that no one has done before is hard
@@rebel6301 if you have a xbox 360 or a series s/x you can get either halo reach or master chief collection, xbox 360 halo reach is pretty cheap, its a really good place to start, or you could try halo combat evolved, the first game. but DO NOT ever watch the tv show, it sucks
That red stud did not read as an eye at first, but as a nose! 😂 To me it read as a killer bunny, with an orange visor, so funny looking that it crosses from goofy to creepy, in a good way. "Characterful" almost undersells how cool this design is!
I'm sorry, all I can see is him being Rudolph the red nose transformer. My eyes get drawn to the cockpit as eyes before the red peice, and then the "ears" just end up reading as antlers when my eye is drawn to see the yellow as eyes and red as nose.

Raptor feet with a digitigrade stance - he looks like he moves mincingly, like a human would if they were trying to walk digitigrade while wearing stilts, or like a wading bird, lifting and placing its feet with each step. On the other end you have what could be a crest or antlers, but I think would actually be most on-brand as a biomechanical/Bayversian hybrid organ structure that is both large ear and antenna. It's a shame that real-world osprey aren't suitable to use as AWACS (Airborn Warning and Control System - the passenger and cargo jets with the huge radar domes on their back) missions. The robot mode says "stealthy signals intelligence collector" and it would be nice to see the alt-mode reflect that. A variant of this design done in deep blue and grey that sports a saucer-like dome would be an amazing alternate design for a Soundwave.

Love your designs, very creative ways to move parts around to make these robots transform! If you want to give his rotary blades a more blade-like appearance, you could use those pieces that form the ends of oars or boat paddles, part 31990, I think.
This looks so cool! I like both of Covert's modes. This is what the bayverse devepticons should have looked like (not all of them, otherwise there would be the issue of all looking samey).
What if coVert was like a orc with all points in stealth. They might be big and bulky, but could get behind you and snap your neck without you knowing.
You should make another ospray, called sky storm, and have a combined form for him called sky thunder, maybe with World War II jets or something? I was thinking, wild storm, storm chaser, for the arms
Hey I love the build and I have a idea for a build and I would enjoy if you built it based off of my description.so it’s a tank that’s tress fold out as his feet then the panels covering the treds become it’s legs and the top in robot mode is stuby and its name is bombshell.
What if he had two more propellers on the back and in his bot mode they act as claws/types of weapons and in the middle there r the hand pieces so he can hold stuff still just an idea
