Prolly ditch Yoimiya and use Collei instead. That way enemies would only get burning and not inflicted with other elements. So Lyney, Amber, Venti & Collei. Only good with ventiable enemies tho.

I’d highly reccommend farming the new Marechaussee Hunter set for Lyney - so much crit rate + it’s his BiS :)
Fischl can use the 4pc of the other set and some others can use the 2pc
Not just crit rate,its passive was made for him
also another thing - for lyney you need to lvl up his nornal and skill the most. while charge shotting, if you lose hp you gain a stack, i think up to 5. his skill dmg is dependent on the amount of stacks so tgeres that. burst is important but not as big part of the main kit.
also since he doesnt gain stacks under 60 percent hp, you should have a healer to keep him in high hp... and that might be slight issue fir bows only tbh.
so yeah normal attack is super important here

I think it’s kind of funny that their first Fontaine banner was a pyro user whose entire kit wants him to run a mono-pyro team while everyone is going to be exploring the new map that requires hydro nonstop
To be fair he’s so good he could solo the overworld so it doesn’t hurt to bring a hydro while exploring with him

its kinda silly!! though to be fair i have not had to bring out a hydro character more than twice exploring fontaine so far…i mostly just stick with lyney’s mono pyro team and i’m all good. they usually have ways to use hydro without a hydro character in fontaine, similar to sumeru 👍

You could try a melt comp with burst support Ganyu. So you could do Lyney, Amber (for Pyro resonance), Venti and Ganyu. Since Ganyu's burst gives anyone who stands in it a charged attack buff. That way you can keep Yelan and Yoimiya together. Just a suggestion though. I do think Lyney can work on a Bows Only account. You could even try a Burgeon comp, but that would require you to use Yelan. I'm sure you'll find a way! Love the vids, keep it up!
Correction: Ganyu gives a cryo dmg bonus, not CA bonus. Although she'd still work really well for all the other reasons

To be honest, i think you shouldnt try to force the mono pyro team. Unlike Nilou, his passive only makes him stronger but not 100% necessary to be playable. You could use Amber, Venti, a healer and Lyney. Put him with some EM for melt if use with Diona. He does perform very well even without the mono pyro aspect!

@@hellostudios9742 It usually does way too many damage on our characters and way too less on the boss. There is the ... air fryer comp? Forgot the name. With two anemo, but idk if this will be doable without Kazuha. Burning is also easier to keep it going with Nahida, with Collei i am not so sure it would be that consistent.
It can be tried, for sure, but i would imagine the cons are bigger than the pros.
Also, i would say Lyney really needs a healer or shielder. He could try burning to trigger Melt with Diona. But as i said before, idk if the Collei can keep burning consistently.

Also tip, he's still decent in melt. I'd put him with amber, diona, and venti. As proof, my level 70 Lyney with low talents hit 100k in melt at four stacks

you can probably also try double pyro + double anemo, venti'll be your sup dd with dd artifacts, thus you'll be able to go with yoyo and yelan as your second team

Highly agree with people recommending weapon banner, although Yelan cons are good she's gonna rerun eventually and getting 5 star characters has never been a huge issue since there's no double rate up, so there's no difference between getting her now vs getting her next banner (if she was already C5 then I'd argue getting her last Con is better)
There's no guarantee we'll ever have a weapon banner this good AND with both weapons being Bows.
First Great Magic can be quite niche but even just as a stat stick it's great (only around 20 Crit Dmg less than Aqua). Also since you can't use Bennett, it giving a lot of attack% (at least 1 stack always) while also having good Base Atk is great for a lot of characters, because most of them scale off Atk, which is something that Aqua lacks (while still being quite competitive).
I honestly think you should get to weapon pity twice at least in the hope of getting both or 2 copies of one of them

Lyney's rotation would be like, 3 charged atks, burst, and then skill to detonate the Grin Malkan hats and heal at the end.
This is less good without Benny, but alot of chars are not as good without Benny, but Diona is essential with him in this case. Since you atleast get to heal and melt with him. Probably Venti, and then Amber ig???

This video, for some reason, is the one that made me pull for Lyney. I had the guaranteed and was 22 pulls away from hard pity. I was saving everything I had for my favourite character's constellation: Childe. I GAVE IN. I PULLED AND GOT LYNEY at hard pity. I do not regret this at all. He's super fun to play and I love both his design and character.
but damn, now I'll have to farm all of Fontaine and 100% every region to guarantee myself at least one childe const 😭
Ohhh wish you a quick Childe constellation! I couldn't get him in 2 years and now I'm finally saving for him, which is why Lyney's definitely waiting for a rerun - Childe has waited, and so will Lyney, besides,. I'm not so much interested in most Fontaine characters, so, I can save more easily
But I don't have the exploration left since almost everything is 100% already :((
you could have a burst EoSF build for yoimiya and give amber noblesse for a lyney comp. You could also replace yoimiya with Collei for burning, it will keep the pyro aura for lyneys Passive

It would be goo d to farm the new artifacts, because one set is best in slot for Fishl and the other set is best in slot for lyney.
When was the Homa and Aqua banner I thought so too "it's a win-win situation". I got skyward atlas.
For the health you lose with charge attacks, you heal it back with the stacks on your skill. Also, the exploding cat thing does more damage than the charge attack most of the time.

I think you can ignore the mono pyro in this case, he can still do good damage without it.
Lyney would be a good melt-team with Ganyu, Diona and Yelan or Childe. He would be able to apply pyro off field which you have been lacking.
oh also deelo the new artifact set is excellent on him and by far his best and it shares a domain with the elemental skill fischl set..... i'm not saying want to see a video of you trying to build him and fischl but..........
Sumeru is still my favorite region since it has rich culture but Fontaine exploration is so fun😩😩
I played the moment you pulled Lynsey and synced it up with my pulls and I got a 5-star!!! And then I realized I pulled on the wrong banner and got Lyney instead of Yelan. And then I said screw it I’m just going to spend the rest of my 30 pulls. Then I got Yelan in my first ten-pull.

you could always try collie on noblesse on that team so that you have burning up time. pretty sure it would help with the dmg
about teams - amber and lyney in one team and yoi and yelan in another - it still gives lyney boost so he's gonna rock that comp
amber is after all is pretty good at applying pyro and you can farm some noblesse from strongboxes for her to amplify further lyney's dmg
Sigwinne is rumor to be a 4* Hydro Bow Healer which probably what you need in Lyney's team
Despite appearances i dont think lyney scales off of hp
honestly i think lyney amber faruzan and gouru would be a fine team: ; just to not expend the other team mates and just put faruzan on viridescent, gouru on exile, and amber on noblesse
Change gorou to collei for burning reaction so you can keep Pyro aura on enemy
Pyro boss has %70 pyro resistance and you went there with amber and lyney👁👄👁
And maybe if you give yoimiya and amber er and than use them as a burst sport for lyney it might work i guess

for me, i main him and run him in a team of thoma/xiangling, kazuha, and bennett
for your account, i would probably do something like lyney, amber, venti, and a flex slot for maybe a shielder like diona!
my rotation with him is usually one lvl 2 charged shot > swirl pyro > another lvl 2 charged shot > burst > skill! that way he can have 3 stacks when he does his skill, but he can get more stacks if he’s being healed by someone like diona 👍
for his build, if you’re gonna use lavawalker or something similar, build him like your average dps (atk crit and er)…if you are gonna use the new artifact set, you can focus more on other stats over crit rate, since he’ll get a lot from the artifact set bonus and his accession stat!
also, his talent priority is na > skill > burst

i have a FontaineOnly account and Lyney was - obviously - the first 5* event character i was able to wish for. i have him on pretty random artifacts for the moment, but he has a good crit ratio and around 2.4k attack (lvl 80) in a mono pyro team. his damage is nuts compared to what i was working with before Fontaine 😂 but he's also nice for melt, i figured. so yeah, it means wasting his passive, but since you can't do mono pyro on Bows Only, melt is a very good option!
the new craftable weapon is good for him btw. if you don't have a 5* bow (like me on that account), Song of Stillness is the weapon to go. i still have to raise it to lvl 90; i'm curious to see where his attack ends up 👀

If you want to farm the new ore you can find underwater deposits and use the copied shield ability from some 🐟 which insta destroys it.

on bows only lyney cant really work like in team comp but still new character added to team, u have 130 wishes left so i think u should go on weapon banner cuz 50-60 wishes if u are lucky can get a weapon the new boy or one mroe aqua whoch is so good then u will have 70 more (130-60) and can go for yelan and get like 10 more wishes from exploration which is nto hard and get a 5 star which may be yelan c2 or use all wishes on weapon banner cuz i dont think there will be another double bow weapon banner fro like 1 year, lyney works great liekw ith xiangling and benent and anemo bus since is bowonly u cant really teamup him so much but future characters are comign so yea, anywayss s bgi fana nd watcher all ur videos like 10times so great work and keep up
ur build for him needs to be better if u want him to do more dmg and not be underwhelming then try getting the new 4pc sets that increases crit rate everytime ur hp decreases or increases also use diona in ur team its ok if amber isn’t just need a healer for lyney after all then maybe try leveling him up to atleast 80 give him more crit dmg since crit rate is alr gonna be too much if u get his 4pc bis it adds basically 24% crit rate so focus crit dmg > hp > atk > crit rate
This team u could try Gorou (archaic petra)+ venti + Amber (noblesse) pyro res + Lyney
I would def suggest playing him with Amber/Venti + Diona, bc once you hit the 60% hp threshold Lyney does not get any more stacks unless he gets healed. Plus free melt and shield - bc he is really squishy.
i really wanna play genshin again. really wanna see what it looks like now since someone hacked my account couple months ago and hoyoverse said they could not figure out if that account was mine even though i have all the invoices from buying crystals and stuff. i have another account to play but i dont feel like playing it, and videos like this makes me happy and sad at the same time.

You can actually Mine Ores using Lyney Grim-Malkin Hat just use level 2 charge attack and E when the Grim-Malkin Hat explodes it's actually somehow damage the ores

You just have to wait for the dedicated pyro buffer because they are always bow characters. They wanted to prove us wrong woth mika but they still gave him a crossbow.

1. New artifacts - Both Lyney and Fischl can do well with the new artifacts so i recommend doing that
2. Lyney, Amber, Venti, Faruzan would be good imo. Sub Dps Venti could be cool. But definitely save a lot of ER of all of them. Yoimiya could also replace Faru but she would also just be sort of a waste since shes good as a dps with Fischl, Yelan and the other units u got.
Ngl, pulling on the weapon banner is pretty good bc even if you get the wrong weapon you get a aqua which works and many characters!Also I don’t know much abt lyney and his team but I would defo and yelan to the team bc vape and ye.

lyney does better in mono pyro. yelan doesnt works well with him cus he prioritises charge attack so her burst wouldn't work with him.
a tip is charged, charged, burst, and final is e (that isnt the burst state)
His artifact set is so good I hit 50k with level 1 talents at level 70

lyney amber venti healer. or embrace the teammate atk buff from yoimiya burst and build a burst support yoimiya MAO
So lyney is a charge atk dps with a burst nuke rotation, so if I'm not mistaken, sara is a damage buffer to everyone not just electro (That's c6) so maybe diona for shield and heal (eventually c6 for 200 em share) amber support based build either energy or something related (c6 which is near impossible it gives atk and movement speed upon burst) and rotate everyone to help lyney do his burst nuke rotation Charge atk, into burst, into charge atk/e. so I guess it would amber bunny, dione burst and shield, sara e (if c2) and burst into lyney charge shot into burst, and then chargeshot
Another team could be full melt lyney with amber support (instructor ) with ganyu burst support and diona noblesse set.
I also suppose overload lyney could work with fish and sara and amber as long as you amazing at dodging.
Burst support yoimiya could also replace amber if you don't need her for the other half in abyss, seeing how yoimiyas burst ONLY works with other characters
Overall I enjoy using him and like any charge shot dps 4 piece wanderer is great, and the new set that gives crit rate upon draining hp would be amazing for him too, then all you gotta do is build crit damage sub stats
Manifesting c6 yelan for you in the future
maybe you’ve figured it out already, but maybe not, or this at least makes it easier for someone else: lyney’s e skill by itself doesn’t really do anything. you mainly want to do charged shot after charged shot to gain stacks and then you can do his skill for some extra damage and to regenerate hp. his e skill and burst aren’t his main sources of damage, so expect bigger numbers from his charged shots.
as for teams, lyney is basically meant to be run with bennett as he’s pyro, meaning a damage boost for lyney, and can continuously heal him, so lyney can keep getting stacks as he does charged shots. in your case a mono pyro team is a little harder, but i guess you could run a melt or vape lyney, it’s just way harder to get to the same damage that monopyro gives you for simply existing.
I appreciate that you still got him for collection's sake, but I agree it won't be easy to use him on your account and you shouldn't worry about it too much, unless you find you really need his Pneuma functionality in the future. I pulled him and he feels great on a normal account, surpassed my expectations! PS I like how you had an upbeat and positive mood in this video
You could always (if you need a healer) build goro as one since you have his C4 :)

For people having trouble.... Try Using Baizhu, Lyney, Xianling and Benny, Baizhu heals and shields ( thoguh small) and interruption resistance.... Its works great. Especially in overworld where you are using Lyney and his HP drops... And it triggers you.. But you have to use food and your food is depleting at an alarming rate... Yeah.. TRY BAIZHU!!! IN OW, this team works great, its comfy. And give like 200 ER plus to Baizhu... In two taps he be full energy.
Just a tip, you can farm the crystals underwater with the crab power thingy(?) its so much easier.
i think u could go for this weapon banner considering that both weapons are bows (+ sac bow).

You could do amber with noblesse, venti with VV, lyney with the new hunter set because it's his best and diona, her shield is useful and lyney needs to be healed in order to get more stacks, it's also good that Diona doesn't apply much cryo because enemies need to have pyro aura on them to proc lyney's passive, remember that the third pyro character gives him only 20% more pyro, which is still good, but you don't have to force it, personally, if I pulled lyney, my team of choice would be him, Benny, kazuha and zhongli, no third pyro because who would I use, dehya is redundant if you use zhongli (not that I have her), and I don't use xiangling. The reason why I don't get him is cuz I don't have zhongli
every fontaine character does the dolphin dive (including traveler)
If you don’t have his set go with 2 piece atk and 2 piece pyro damage or full attack.
I'm going lyney, amber, collei and diona on my bows only account. collei lets the pyro aura last longer. you don't have to play him tripel pyro. If I get venti I might drop diona for content that you can crowd control.

that weapon banner is godly for a bow main. I pulled for it and got both the bows for my ganyu and tighnari. I am so happy, actually really suggest the weapon banner if you are going for it.
you need to get his new artifact set... it makes a huge difference, 20% stronger or even more, even lavawalker is way behind

you can make airfrier team with Lyney, Collei, Amber and Venti! It is a pretty good team and you can have other strong side as well
i mean if you dont put yoimiya you only loose 20% damage yk, could put diona / cryo for melt team? also there may be a good pyro support for him later on, but not sure if they'll be a bow character. in general theres lot of pyro supports so could easily do a melt combo w him, but for bows only i think your best bet would be lyney, amber for pyro resonance + lyney buff, venti for viridescent + crowd control and ganyu for melt support.
He is only buffed when there is pyro on the opponents. Meaning using cryo supports decreases your dmg bonus by 100% with three pyros on the team, or 80% with two. Melt is a nice 2x multiplier but it’s a pretty big damage loss for Lyney

Just use Lyney Amber Venti and Ganyu as a melt team
And then
Yoimiya and Yelan on a second team with probably Gorou and Diona for shields you could even use Diona on the melt team
It would probably be like this
Ganyu skill then burst, then use venti burst to absorb the cryo then you do amber skill then burst then go in with lyney and if there's too much pyro or too much cryo just remove someone or change the rotation
It just feels wrong to not utilize his passive, I guess i could try him in other teams but not sure how well that will go. Kinda feels like playing Nilou in a non bloom team (not to that extent but you know what I mean)
