- Althaitham is now in Genshin Impact, so of course we want to wish for him on the Swords Only account.
The plan was to build Ayato today, and explore the new desert within Sumeru a bit. I also wanted to do a couple of pulls for Alhaitham, but then the unimaginable happened... We got... Lucky?
Swords Only in Genshin Impact can be quite challenging at times. However, as the self-proclaimed master of "Weapon" Only challenges in this game, I am able to best any obstacle (probably).
HoYoVerse put out a tweet saying "Polearm Impact"... So I decided to take it upon myself to make a new account, but only use characters who wield a sword because absolutely nobody asked me to.

Childe is a bow character, his skill is dual blades for the first 2~3 attacks, the rest are polearm attacks.
His skill-mode, burst is also a Polearm attack

frist of all child one doesn't count as dual wield at all because he uses and elementaly created out of air polarm made of water which can split and joint again as wanted which doesn't count as dual wield and what alhaitham does is he uses 2 swords made out of metal which he equips while attacking it and he can't make metal to joint it again by his mere mortal force without fire which makes a character dual wield not , a weapon makes out of elements spawns in air

if you're going to be using the flute on ayato i recommend doing kazuha's quest as the sword you get from that quest is just the flute but better, and it also looks cooler on ayato

@@ahamadsemiyan7760 True, but there are quests which just worth it. One thing to do the quest just for a couple primos not enough for a single pull and whole other for something that'll actually be useful on your account for a long while.
also lions roar can conditionally be his best 4star depending on his team
its so wholesome that Java still gets happy on getting chunks at ar55
Sakura cleansing doesn't give a sword blueprint, it gives a catalyst blueprint. You need to do another quest on the Jinren island by freeing a dude who got roasted by his own father and mother.

If you don't get AlHaitham's signature weapon, then his second best-in-slot will actually be Harbinger of the Dawn. With Kuki you are permanently at full health, so you will have a sword with 100CV - thats pretty insane for 3 star sword.
The hyperbloom team with XQ and Kuki is phenomenal for haitham in this acc! It’s honestly pretty strong and all u need pretty much is em on kuki (and dmg stats on haitham and XQ help a ton but are not mandatory)
Also, 4pc glad is amazing on ayato, and when they say specific elemental types on the new boss they mean pyro hydro electro and cryo, the swirlable elements
The fact that you have the perfect hyperbloom team now with Haitham, Kuki, Xingqiu and traveler is perfect (it's his best team, only replacement would be traveler for Nahida or Yelan but they aren't sword 💀)

finally someone said it!! when i was farming sakura blooms for ayaka, i would only use kuki. she’s PERFECT for that, practically made for it! i probably did give her some ptsd though sending her to that tree like every day

If you do Kazuha's story quest, you get a really good 4* sword for Ayato.

I think going for the sword might not actually be that bad of an idea considering the crit stat on it
I'm gonna go off and say it the reason these series are so much more successful then the other (insert weapon) only is because these accounts aren't just whaling so there's actually stakes and a reason to watch love the content Java even outside of these you're cool

Oh man I can’t believe we both got so lucky! I had just gotten raiden on the banner right before alhaithem, and then just did like 20 pulls and got him! And now you just got him early too, we both actually are getting lucky! 😮
I would go for the weapon, its crit dmg and at level 80, i think, gives 80% crit damage
Around 84% Crit DMG at 90 levels I think.
His Weapon Bonus also gives an extra 4% Crit DMG/Crit Rate.
So it's a 88/85% Crit DMG Sword.
88.9% crit dmg, 4% crit rate
Also the base attack is crazy high.

@@rhonynn3555 it's base atk is 542 at lvl 90 which means it has the lowest base atk, like jade cutter.
The crit makes up for it by a mile though, especially since Alhaitham doesn't really need that much atk anyway

Actually the black windglider 07:49 fits perfectly with Alhaitham's design. It has even a turquoise detail on it that fits with the color of his cloths.

Childe Dual wields though a skill, Javathecup was also referring to sword character's.
Child is a bow character and his Dual wield is more of a Polearm
(I'm a Childe Main, I'm building Xiao any my new Main)
His skill consisted of a split Polearm which turns into two Sword like figures, during his last attacks (third and forward), it turns into a Polearm- same with his Skill Mode Burst

For Ayato’s weapon, you can give him a harbinger of dawn sword. Although it’s a three star with a low base attack, it provides an insane amount of crit rate and damage. The low base attack also isn’t as bad on Ayato since he can gain a bit more damage from hp that might come from bad artifact rolls.
I literally remember I saw in yt algorithm a vid that said smt like *can I beat genshin with only sword characters* and I watched it and sub immediately, but then after cap 8 I saw that *thexade* disappeared from my subs and I was scared until I saw a new ch called *javathecup* and saw *goodbye to thexade*, I was scared but it was an *update* x the channel and I said thanks godness, then the trailer x spells only was just epic.
Now here I am, not only x spells/swords only, but I love the coop vids and the color ones too, and will remember xever the google translate *Korea university rock dragon*, its just a legend lmao.

Java since you got him early pull for his weapon I think it's the most highest crit damage sword.Remember Java you said someday your negative luck will be gone in new main vids that happened
85% Crit DMG at Level 90, the description also states that the sword guess a bonus 4% Crit DMG..

get the weapon definitely!! 88.9 crit dmg and 4% crit rate at refinement 1, alhaitham doesn't have crit ascension so that's VERY useful for him!
For farming the cryo/hydro domain, Layla would be good. Takes the edge of the hard hits, and the shield can soak a lot of a cryo damage.
Glad that you took my advice and put the Flute on Ayato for now.

lol...same happened to me. I had zero pity, did one ten pull and there he was! I never lost the 50/50 before, BUT Alhaitham's banner was definitely my luckiest so far!
Great to see you have some really good luck in this banner, Alhaitham is now one of my favorites so I luck up for seeing him in the series. Also I would say it is better if you save your fates for a new character or a better weapon banner.

I originally planned to get ayaka on her next banner but after seeing Alhaitham's moves i wanted him and used all my 90 pulls on him AND WON THE 50 50 :D (Also how the heck did i not even get a single Yaoyao)

I would recommend kazuha story weapon for ayato, probably his best F2P option in my opinion.
im pretty sure you get 2 of those diamond from his skill, and i think a charged gives you one more? i'm not certain though
his burst changes depending on how many of those diamonds you have, 0 it's short, and 3 it's at the max length. i'm not sure if the damage increases depending on how many diamonds you have but i don't think so
i might be missing some info and i might be wrong so take this with a grain of salt. also u need a crit value piece, em piece, and/or dendro/atk piece. both sets from the deepwood domain are really good on him so it's a win win

The wenut tunnels are such a pain to navigate, I was just following a seelee, but then it fell on the lower layer, I decided to explore some more and return to the hole later, but got so turned around and could not find it to save my life, and then fell down into the scorpion lair, wandered outside to the other side of the tunnels and was flabbergasted to see a ruin golem suddenly. Thank archonts this one does not shoot you! Also there is a ton of small but very persistent enemies which just can't let you explore in peace... Why, why have the pupa to be here!

As a meta slave I would not recommend pulling in weapon banner as the umbrella is one of his best 4star weapons. I would also use him in a team of kuki xingqui and dendro lumine

Here are my unprofessional opinions. Do the Alhaitham trial again. Just look at how disgustingly good the sword is at level 80. Then decide if you want to risk pulling for it. They've basically powercrept the Mistsplitter. Also, put the Favonius Sword on Lumine and get its refinement as high as you can. It turns crit rate into ER and it gives over 60% ER at max level. The white particles also feed everyones burst, which is good if you're running an Alhaitham and Xingqui based hyperbloom team.
