@@aaronallen7431 Technically NBA Live 99 is set in the 1998-1999 regular season, the year the San Antonio Spurs became champions, the game was made a few months before July 1st 1998, and around that time the Bulls still had Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Steve Kerr and all the other players who defeated the Utah Jazz during the 1998 Finals in their roster.
RIP Don Poier. One of my favorite video game announcers.

I had this game at my ps1 collection.
I remember to play vs my friends and to talk with them about systems and the best players.
One of the best basketball games for me.
I used to play this all the time with a disc that was burnt from a Blockbuster hire back in the day (still have it). Good times.
Oldshool Hip Hop beats in the main menu of the game...80s babies we grew up in the coolest times of history 🙏 (I still got the Cd case)

@@NankoRi It's not about he retired, he retired on January 1999 the NBA live 99 released last 1998. Michael Jordan have own video game that time like Space Jam game therefore he might be suited

Took the defensive fouls off and kept on pushing, literally. It is totally possible to hit 500 points with a single team in that game, just leave the auto shot release on. I still have it actually, right next to my PS5 😂 I'm never getting rid of it.

How prescient that #99 's last year and last representation was live 99 , they should've put #99 Player on the cover for his last year
The players that were in the 98 draft weren't in the game either. For example, Vince Carter should have been on the Raptors his rookie year on the game. The players in the draft in 98 came in the 2000 NBA Live. Due to the lockout and rookie contracts
