It’s crazy how they were still making PS1 games just 2 years before PS3 released. What a long life cycle but that shows how great this console was. I still love the look to a lot of the games from this generation.

Not really. You just had to know how to get your good shooters into the correct spot. There was a couple of preset plays that would put shooters in the corner and it was $$$$!

God, ShootOut 98 was bad. REAL BAD! I remember my buddy bought it instead of NBA Live. We played 1 quarter of ShootOut and I took the game out and vowed that it would never be permitted in my PS1 again! Every shot was a fucking fade away, it was impossible to tell who had the ball in a crowd, and if you doubled teamed with your player, the guy you were guarding would NEVER miss! One time Luc Longly had 24 pts at halftime all on open 18-20 ft jumpers! LMAO! A little reality please.......
