I loved this game cause you could have serious games, and you could also turn off all the rules and just clown around. Did anyone ever do that? I used to just push people around with Shaq with no fouls on when ever I was bored, and run all the way out of bounds up and down the court. Gave me and my little nephew a lot of laughs.

Boy I played the paint off this game. In fact I had all the Lives up until they stopped making them. Reminds me of my high school days chilling in the room and playing with my friends.
Omg the beginning slim. So many memories. Still say 2000 with Jordan Playground was the best one.

Does anybody know of any videos with a game played on the underwater court? That was always my favorite cheat to activate. I always saved my game with that enabled.

Now, go look at the SNES version of this game and try not to feel sorry for people who had to play it on that console at the same time others were playing it on PC and PS1 in all of its 3D glory.

PeachyHater the first NBA game I played was NBA Live 2000 for ps1 and for somebody who didn't really know basketball it was too close to the rules for me to have fun with. I got a copy of MBA live 98 in a bundle recently and the first thing I noticed was being able to just knock a guy over to get the ball! this is the game for me!
