Tour of Bermuda’s Most Beautiful Secluded Beach! Is This The BEST BEACH IN THE WORLD!?

- Does Bermuda have the best beach/beaches in the world - and most people don't even know about them? Only you can determine that, but I believe it's safe to say these gems got lost in the Bermuda Triangle. This video tours several beaches found on the east end of Bermuda (Clear Water Beach, Turtle Beach, Soldier Bay, and Cooper's Island Nature Reserve to name a few). We spend some time discussing the natural phenomenon found here and some of the history of the area. This little known area is certainly a treasure and has managed to dodge the over crowding and pollution that often come with high quality tourist attractions. Opps…one more thing…we joined the locals frequently to take the bus to the other and busier side of Bermuda! I was in my 60s at that the time and the sweetest elder man insisted I take his seat! Wonderful people in Bermuda!!!

If you are in Hamilton harbor probably 20-25 minutes. If you are in port at Dockyard… at least 40-45min, I’d say by taxi 🚕

We stayed in St. George at a hotel that had huge potential…fabulous food and views…we understand that it may have been refurbished…hope so as it was a perfect location with a very short walk down the hill to everything. Love, love loved the fort there as we were one of only 3 wandering through out and deep into the bowels of the fort….fascinating! Deep into the fort, the dining area was so interesting, but not for those who may be a bit claustrophobic! The beaches on either side were gorgeous and empty in early spring.
I believe you stayed at the St. Regis Hotel and the fort you went into was Fort St. Catherine's! Also, the beaches were Achilles Bay and St. Catherine's Bay! AWESOME!! I definitely need to spend some more time up that way! I have yet to really explore it like it deserves! I'm really happy you enjoyed your stay! Please come back soon!

I’m going to Bermuda at the end of October and Cooper’s Island is high on my list. Is it easy to reach by public transportation? I was thinking of taking the Norwegian cruise boat to St George. And then I’m hoping to bus. Any suggestions are appreciated! 😊
If you stay at Grotto Beach Resort it’ll be super close! And you can take about an 8 minute bus ride. The issue is the bus sometimes takes forever to drop by. In this case just call a taxi. Such a short trip wouldn’t be too expensive. If you are staying in St Georges on a ship you’re right next to coopers island. It’s only a 5 minute trip by bus or taxi! Also if you like Chinese food try Golden Dragon.
We are also going at the end of october on the escape see you there. Our 5th time in Bermuda.

@@adonisnikoloulis8989 😂🤣 whoops… it was packed for Cup Match yesterday! At least Clear Water was… the beaches throughout Coopers Island weren’t bad… plenty of room to spread out. I was pleasantly surprised lol
