Some ideas for your consideration: 1. take a big spoon and remove the dross/slag before pouring. Much cleaner ingot. 2. don't put the mold on the concrete like that, but on some dry bricks. You had some small vapor explosion that can shoot dangerous stuff around and crack that pavement. 3. Remove the ingots from the molds before cooling, less cracked molds. 4. use a metal bucket for obvious reason.

Natural gas will not work, there’s not enough air. You can drill the orifice out to match the btus but you’ll need to hook up a way to add a significant amount of air and be able to change the volume of air.

Mikey pipes! Run er around 30psi if your not induced with a blower, I would stick with lp, I know I've done some work for glass blowing people, and they prefer lp saying it will burn hotter

  • @jasongeo2

Mike I would double the pressure to 40psi. It's taking longer then it should at 20. Try it.

Orifice for propane is a smaller hole .Figure out what BTU you need for natural gas and drill it out

Not enough air, the burner tube and air shutter are way too small. You would have to add a blower
