The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks was my favorite book from this year. Modern Miss Mason was very good as well. I am starting Persuasion next. Counting the Cost was a great read from this year. My 2024 list also begins with The Girls who Stepped out of Line by Major General Mari K. Eder and When we had wings by Ariel Lawhon, Kristina McMorris & Susan Meissner
