Did you see the other tiger's reaction. That was a full on attack roar. The other tiger flinched out of shock and spun around to possibly engage in a fight to the death lol.

I sadly never saw a tiger in real life I think but the strongest weapon of a tiger is his roar because it makes anyone frightened and freeze the enemies for some seconds… thats what everyone says even people who work for tens of years with tigers
I wonder how it must feel in real life they say its so crazy you can feel it in your body and all
I never thought that an other tiger would be so scared too but in this situation from behind in a chill mood even an elephant with a remote control which he can use in his brain with a Tank cannon and unlimited life would be scared

That was Amanda, she shares a huge enclosure with her two brothers Andre and Arthur, they were rescued from a sanctuary in Texas that closed down. All 3 of them took a long time to get used to new people but Amanda took the longest and doesn't like me at all as you can see in the video. I didn't see her coming at all!

Our enclosures are built in sections, or rooms, that are connected by doorways and tunnels. These three are together because the arrived here together and choose to be together. They came from a bad situation and sometimes have bad attitudes, but they are getting better. Their enclosure has many sections, not just the one you saw in the video. The cats move back and forth from section to section as they please. Building in curved, roofed sections makes the enclosure stronger in storms.

Exactly.I was calm and only got surprised to know that it was other tiger who roared and not the first one as I was not expecting three tigers in same area.
The first tiger was like, "Flipping hell, man!"
Amanda the tiger who roared at me in the video has been at the sanctuary for over a year and is only just starting to become comfortable with people. All three tigers in this video, Andre, Arthur and Amanda were very aggressive to begin with the boys have calmed down much more but Amanda is taking a little longer.
It's actually a growl, their roar is different

Foxfang27 , yes, although Andre and Arthur are larger than Amanda when it comes right down to it she is the boss. Most of the time she is the shyest one but when she "speaks" both her brothers take heed.

Tea of the GODS late reply but what the heck, i believe they are called golden tigers and just like white tigers, the skin color & stripes (or rather lack of stripes with the golden tiger) is due to inbreeding. They do not exist naturally in the wild.

Amanda as definitely taken more time to become "friendly' towards keepers, Andre and Arthur are 50/50 with me, sometimes they like me other times they want to kill me too, Amanda is more 90/10 !!
Amanda must be very protective of the boys. You might want to try and see if there are any blood relations between the three of them.
I think it would be a good assumption to take in that sonce she is a female tiger, she might have a more maternal form of instincts. I don't know what kind of bad situation all three came from, but if it could be possible, she could've been forcefully bred and had her cubs taken.
I know if I was forced to be bred and had my cubs taken and sold away, I wouldn't trust humans so quickly either.

It's scary how powerful a tiger's roar can be. I've heard it can actually paralyze those who hear it under certain circumstances. And there's the fact that unlike lions they don't roar defensively to warn others, they roar only if they're angry or ready to attack.

Hi, yes we definitely bond with them even thought we don't have direct physical contact we talk to them and if they see us they come over and say "hello" but they will always be dangerous and unpredictable no matter what you do they are wild animals....
