Y'all really understand the message. I'm sometimes honestly concerned for Tom's safety. He's so realistic that all these fake ass haters could potentially become a dangerous threat to him. This man is very intelligent and paying attention to what's going on around them unlike the rest of these sheep that are blindfolded.

I continually pray for Tom and Nova. I am a raw realist like he is. I have no filter and I give no fecks out of my garden of fecks. From what I gather, Tom starts rhyming stuff into His phone with a concept, then hums-out beat ideas, makes the full beat on His M-Audio Keystation, perfectly, then listens to the lyric notes and raps out the whole thing in one go, making a few adjustments afterwards, then does a complete master/main vocal recording and sends both the finished beat and main performance to Evan Morgan for His final Mastering flourishes - Evan will sometimes ask Tom to send Him new vocal samples to overlay onto the original one for a little added spice.
Also Nova does a bunch of vocal work that gets spliced in with Tom's voice, and is also used for any Female or otherwise ethereal/Childlike backing vocals on the tracks, too.
She also does some very masculine low register stuff to add grit to the choruses, also. I think I hear Her on the "Blah-blah" parts of this very hook. Gives it that Playground taunting vibe. #HOG!

Edit : I have something useful to add to the discuss at the end of your video; I just found this out - Tom creates the beat as he's writing the lyrics to keep them tight so it doesn't sound like he's forcing the scheme or cadence.

I disagree on the use of certain words. We think it is okay to say something is dumb, stupid, or idiotic..yet those also define levels of intelligence or handicaps. Using the R word is no different other than some people are soft about it. My husband is retarded from having encephalitis as a child...even he isn't bothered by the word. When we start censoring words we start censoring everything.
Stupid is a word that would fit your description here but I have to disagree on the other words. The words "idiotic" and "dumb" do not refer to any individual in a condescending way nor do they have anything to do with someone's intelligence or handicaps of any sort. If you don't want to take my word for it you can look up the definitions of both words and see for yourself. They can be used in a condescending manner but they are not "of" a condescending manner at all. It pays to look things up rather than just say what you think is correct no offense intended.

This song sounds a lot like late 90's, early 2000's west coast rap. It reminds me of Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, even some of the older down-tempo Slim Shady tracks. Its the kind of song you wanna listen to in a car with a good sound system, while you casually drive down the street, and just enjoy the vibe.
The message of the entire song is pure facts, bar after bar. I think the point the woke or hurt folks are missing, is Tom is saying you CAN think or feel how you want (even if others think how you feel its lame), but you need to also learn to stay in your lane. He's saying you can't just arbitrarily force your business on him or others, and don't try and think/act you are right or better than the next person (without any supporting facts to legitimze your side of an argument or discussion).
I like the fact that all of you at Cartier Fam understand what Tom says, and know when he's been serious, and when he's be satirical.
