I've had a G8 GT for 7 years. I've loved it and been eyeing the Chevy SS for the last couple years. The time finally came and I got a 2014 SRT Cherokee. I decided on it due to my need for a truck and my desire for another muscle car. I wanted something awd for the flooding and winter weather in my area. I think this SUV is the perfect solution. It is unreal. I just left the dealer an hour ago.
Great video! Grand Cherokees are based on the Mercedes ML platform so these are actually more reliable than other FCA products. I have a friend who owns one of these.
Reliability of the 6.4 Lt is soso. Cams problems that cost me 4000 $ at 40 000 Miles. And then you have the heating/AC ducting that is horrible on Grand Cherokees . 125 $ piece that cost 2000 $ to repair cause the mecanic have to dismantle the whole dash (like the Dodge caravan). Be aware that tires are not to last long on the SRT (2 years at the most) and they are pretty pricey.
The launch control wasn't done correctly. You sit there for a few seconds with the brake full on and throttle down then release brake. Theyre like a rocket!!!!
Great car till 100K KM then you start to break the bank for its super high Maitenance and consistent failures.i also think is too bad in maneuvering fast between cars or in turns. It only great in a straight drive.
nah. get ur shit right first tho... srt8 jeep came out before 2011. 2008-2010 6.1 hemi was the first one. then it came with a 6.4 hemi, 5 speed, last one was a 2013. then 2014- to now they threw the 6.4 with the 8 speed and now it’s a srt not srt8
