Well, that was fun! You’ve made me think about cookbooks and fun reads. I’m also still on the fence about The Gentle Tarot, although I know that when/if I do get it, I will love it. You are obviously well read but I’m going to offer some book suggestions anyway. This won’t be in the context of awards so my first suggestion is 1000 Vegan Recipes by Robin Robertson who paved the way for 1000 other vegan cookbooks. It isn’t what you think, this is a way to make meatless dishes without expensive additions. Her hummus recipe is great! The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert is a read for those moments in life when you feel like giving up but know that you just can’t. And finally, Snowflower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See is a read about how interior perspectives rarely if ever match reality. It’s also about consequences and the cruelty of ignorance. This old crone dared to share because in the area of sharing, your efforts are exceptional (I’ve watched your other vids) and give me joy!
Thanks for such a lovely comment. I'll look into 1000 Vegan Recipes. Does it use a lot of beans and peas as proteins? I need to learn to like those because I hate the taste of the "pretend" foods like fake cheeses and meats. I haven't read The Signature of All Things yet but I have read a couple Lisa See books and have a couple more on my shelf that I'll get to eventually.
Thank you so much for picking up my tag 🙏🥰 I love that you’ve included the presenters and nominees too, that’s a great idea!!
Thanks for creating the tag. It was fun!
