Good vid. Helped me with changing mine. Main problem I ran into was the clips snapping back into place properly. I had to stop on the rear ones. Only 2 out of the ~12 body clips went in. I installed the fender flare first and the cover after I already had all of the clips in place. It was a pain, but the only way it would work. I am positive there are still some clips not snapped into place on the front flares though. Any tips for that?

Are they the same width? TJ fenders were different size. Sahara had wider fenders compared to Sport

I think you could. I would recommend sanding them smooth first. Of course you need to ensure you match the color as best you can.

I was hoping on a prep/paint tutorial to sand and paint the stock ones. Doing my GMC Sierra and want to know how to prep the plastic.
If you paint the stock fenders they have that texture to it. And you may like that. but my goal was to achieve the Sahara look. And in many cases if researched correctly can be done cheaper.
Chuck Beef it might be too late but if you can you could wrap the fenders for way cheaper and you still have the stock plastic underneath

Hey - did you you use all of the sport wheel wells and liners that came with your wrangler? Or did you have to swap to Sahara ones? Some forums have lead me to believe the flares are different widths... I was hoping all you had to do was swap the painted skins onto the sport mounting surfaces.
All the parts are the same IIRC except for the painted portion itself.

Thank you. I did not need a special tool. I was actually able to press the rivets back in place by hand.
Found full set on Craig's list 35 bucks. Just keep watching

You can buy a bag of those clips for under $10 on Amazon. Jeep looks good by the way.

The Sahara's do come with the painted black fenders.

You will have to search high and low everywhere. I went to the JK-Forum.com and asked around on the Cosmo Blue thread and found someone. I have seen some on eBay and a few on craigslist. But trust me it is worth the hunt.

i got in an accident and the only thing that is messed up on my jeep is the passenger side fender flare. it hangs down a little and is cracked on the inside. does anyone know where i can buy an oem black passenger side fender flare for not an outrageous price?
I did see some on eBay a few weeks ago. Look under JK or Wrangler Fender Flares and refine the search to used condition.

Try the Jeep message boards like jk-forum.com and post an ad or even forum question. That is how I found mine. Also check craigslist and eBay.

I put a message on the Jeep Forum I subscribe to. JK-Forum.Com and this is how I found my fender flares. I have seen some on eBay and craigslist.

Sorry, it was supposed to be debadge, spell check corrected it. Maybe just an idea for a new video, I suggest you remove with blow dryer and some gas will get the glue off quickly, but you need to wash that asap to protect clear coat. Good luck

Ok....... now it's time to get out the hair dryer and pull off the Sport Decal. Find a pic you like on the
internet, have a new decal made at the sign shop and stick it where it once said Sport.
Now add some Reflective Blue slap bracelets the kind runners use to the lower mirror studs.
