  • It was a Papua New Guinea experience for a West Papuan Family, who just handed their daughter to her groom from the Eastern Highlands, Simbu, and Central Province.
    Although it was a small family gathering, the groom’s family made sure their culture was shown to the women from the other side of the border.

    Bride price is not a good practice I can say.. Price is an amount put to something that you pay to own it... When you buy a car you don't go and drive around with the guy who made it and say see I bought your new car. For us human beings money is not to buy our life... It is to sustain us. Marriage is when two young people leave their homes families and friends and become one...
