Yes, bottled water is easily ten times the cost of filtering your own water. My biggest issue is space. I’m able to carry much more water using a Reliance water jug versus bottled water.

That’s smart and a lot less $$ than buying the complete system. I recently got the Berkey “Traveler” and am perfectly happy with it. They say the filters last for 6000 gallons...
If you put fairly clean water in your Berkey, the filters will last even longer. After the initial sticker shock, the Berkey Filters are the most economical. Do you have any trouble with your Traveler leaking from the center or top?
We've all wet our beds a time or three. No shame. LOL! I love your DIY methods. It saves money and keeps your mind creative. Oh, and I still really enjoy your videos 😃
The machines that dispense the water I buy often leave an odd flavor. I’ve also noticed that the water from those machines doesn’t hydrate me as well as when I filter before drinking.
Ha ha! I knew that you were going to be taking about your filter as soon as I saw your post! That seems to be the best way to get water every where in the van. I want a filter like that too but I I'm not sure haw I am going to set it up without it spilling and or leaking. Thanks for the ideas though. :-D

Hey Buddy. Good job.. I too have been doing a lot of research on how to make those water filter containers... I saw most of them using the black filters... Are the white filters ( fluoride filters)?????
These Doulton filters don’t remove fluoride. Berkey makes an additional add-on filter for removing fluoride. There are some companies that sell filters that look similar to the ones I’m using that claim to remove fluoride.
