WIG COLOR SPOTLIGHT: Envy Wigs Color Comparison in 5 colors- 4 brunettes and a red!

My friend Cynthia from Faux Hair, Don't Care! and I decided to collaborate and upload reviews around the same time showing our Envy colors- she has 3 blondes so go check out her review here: • Video
Here are the colors I highlighted in my video. NOTE: it seems there is no consistency to how difference sites describe the colors of these wigs. I looked at 2 sites that have really good color descriptions usually (Cysterwigs and Name Brand Wigs) and since they were both different I listed BOTH descriptions.
Medium Brown in Chloe: DESCRIPTION #1: 10 Medium brown with natural highlights. DESCRIPTION #2: Medium Dark brown blended with light caramel brown and medium golden blonde.
Light Brown in Bianca: DESCRIPTION #1: 12 Light Golden brown with highlights. DESCRIPTION #2: Blend of light golden brown and light natural auburn brown.
Chocolate Caramel in Brittaney: DESCRIPTION #1: Blend of Medium chocolate brown with light caramel brown and Medium Auburn highlights
Toasted Sesame in Nadia: DESCRIPTION #1:Medium brown at roots-overall light brown highlighted with wheat blonde. DESCRIPTION #2: Light Brown blend (gold, ash and caramel) on top of medium brown, medium brown root
Lighter Red in Bianca: DESCRIPTION #1: Irish red with subtle blonde highlights. DESCRIPTION #2: Blend of Dark red based-auburn, dark rust blonde and Intense copper

My measurements
○ Circumference= 22" (average)
○ Front of Hairline to nape of neck (over top of head)= 12.75" (average is 14.25")
○ Ear to ear over top of head= 12" (average is 13.5)
○ Temple to temple around back of head= 14.25
○ Hairline to eyebrow= 2.5"
○ Hairline to tip of nose= 4.75"
○ Hairline to bottom of chin= 8"

I have to comment as we go along!😳🙂 Love medium brown! Never realized that there were so many different colors! Always thought it would look mousy!
I know! That is why I really wanted to show that one, because the name does not do it justice.
It looks like light brown is a lovely highlighted shade. Think it’s too dark for a 70 year old? This video has the best colors I’ve seen on any envy color spotlight vid. Congrats and thanks!

oh Denise, thank you so much for this color comparison video .... it really helps us a lot .... we often present the blondes but the brunettes do not count for plums .... lollll ..... my favorite colors are the brunettes .... also in salt and pepper and lighter grays but I have not yet bought a wig of this color .... thank you and looking forward to your future videos .. ...

The medium brown has really subtle highlights and looks so pretty on you.😍 I haven't tried an Envy wig before. Thank you for showing this video from outside. It made a big difference for choosing a shade for me. My bio hair color is the same as yours. The medium brown is definitely my shade. Thank you 😊

Denise, I LOVED Toasted Sesame! I'm firmly in the blonde camp, do highlights and rooting just fine...and always wondered about Toasted Sesame! I might buy one for winter and see how it goes. Oh here goes! This was wonderful comparison video! So smart to film it outside! I love how one can get a real sense of all of the different shades in one color! Who knew!!??!!😂 Toasted Sesame!!! 💗💗💗 I think that would be a great transition color for both bio blondes and brunettes! And the Irish Red looks so great on you...I don't think I could pull that one off but on you...stunning and fun!

I have all those colors and totally agree! I'm so glad I got over my "dark" phase and can enjoy all these pretty highlighted colors now!

Hi Denise. I just found this video although I am a subscriber. It is interesting to me how blonde the Toasted Sesame color looks in this video. I have it in the Bianca, and it seems darker. That style in that color are a favorite of mine. Different sryles do impact how the colors look significantly, not just different monitors. This was helpful. Thanks.
You know, I have found that there can be a lot of variation in different wigs... especially ones with highlights because the highlights may be placed differently or in different amounts from wig to wig. Curly and straight also impacts that. It is just really tough to get consistency with wigs.
I have a wig in toasted sesame that I'm trying to sell because it looks greenish on me. It doesn't make it easy the way different colors can look so different on different people! I do love these color comparisons - they really are helpful!
Oh no! Greenish? I wonder if it is how the color looks on you or if it is one of the MANY discrepancies we find in wigs and the color is just "off"? That stinks!
@@heywigsister I think it must have to do with my skin tone. Someone else said the same thing happens to her. Golden blondes look greenish and ash blondes look grey. That's exactly what I feel like happens to me. It's been hard (and expensive!) trying to go blonde!

Thanks for sharing. In the video, light brown has a fair amount of warmth, including a little bit of auburn. I'd say light chestnut might be a good description?

I love Chloe! So cute. I just today got my first lace front - Micki by Envy. The color is Amaretto & Cream and it’s gorgeous! Darker brown with highlights throughout and a tiny bit of lighter tones around the face. I absolutely love, love it. This is a different style for me but very cute. I need to trim some bangs but I want to be very careful. I also have another Envy in my cart - one is Chocolate Caramel and the other is Chocolate Cherry. I couldn’t decide, but now I know - not crazy about chocolate caramel so I’ll go with chocolate cherry. I love the medium brown but that wasn’t an option, since I’m buying it on clearance. So thank you for this review - so helpful!! ❤️❤️

I agree with everything Cynthia said.... I find envy to be very true to average overall, but with all lines there are exceptions (which is one of the many things that make the wig journey hard). Denise, your eyes look so much lighter with the Toasted sesame, they just become like a honey color, they pick up that light brown from the wig, that by the way looks beautiful on you, Nadia, gorgeous.!!!! I broke down and bought Bianca and I look awful in her. She doesn’t have those curls all over like yours. She is smooth except at the bottom. I look like an old woman trying to wear long, full hair. I haven’t been able to wear it out in public yet. And Ligher red is my color! I have 3 in her and another in RW glazed fire. Love bright red

I do think Medium Brown is comparable to an 8.... the Chocolate Caramel is just a little lighter overall, I think.

I don't have RW Shaded Hazelnut, but I do have Gabor in Shaded Hazelnut, I'm thinking they would be similar? I just posted a video of Soft & Subtle in that color today....do you think it looks close? Hi Denis 👋🏻 great video! what a fun idea to compare so many colors. Could U tell me how Envy’s L Red looks next to your Gemtress’s Zinnia in color 29? Is 29 lighter, more twds orange, ect? Thank U so much 🧡
Hi! I'm sorry but I don't have Zinnia in that color so I can't help you with a color comparison. I did go online and see if zi could find some information and from the little I found it appears the Zinnia color may be more orange or brassy.... but not having ever seen it in person it is really hard to say.

@@Patinkular No problem! I actually did get a Zinnia and have not reviewed her yet, but she is in the color 825- Golden Walnut. I hope to get a review out about that one soon! I've filmed part 1, the unboxing, but have not had time to play with her yet and get her looking good.

Even the red one? I can definitely see the difference on my monitor (although one of my computer monitors distorts colors terribly)
